I've owned it in white for quite some time now. Would recommend going with the black. Sweat and overall use tend to "stain" the finish and maybe even the color itself. Just sort of wears off. It's showing a rose colored tint through the white.

I love Logitech Gaming Software. It's easy to use and has plenty of customization options. I'm not a huge fan of MMO mice, but I definitely understand why they appeal to a lot of gamers. Personally, I'm rockin' a G400s and I like it a lot! Great review!

I think that this is an incredible video, I'm amazed that they are still NEWEGG TV quality, and even better in some aspects. As for the mouse, I have been using it for a while, and I think you should have tried it in more than just WoW, I use it for Skyrim, Battlefield, Minecraft, Civilization, Borderlands, and even StarWars Battlefront II, I find that even though it is designed for MMOs it is versatile enough to handle all of those games very, very well, especially when you have your ring finger dedicated to DPI and G Shift. While I haven't personally used it for workstation tasks, as I don't do much content creation, I've heard that it's great for that too, but I can vouch for it's use in web browsing with the ability to set buttons to alt, shift, ctrl, etc. for very efficient, and pleasent Chrome use. I think the biggest strong-suite though is the robust Logitech software, the mouse seamlessly switches profiles depending on what application I'm using. While this is a really good review, I don't think you effectively got the message across that this mouse is incredible for every use, and is one of the most versatile mouses out there.

I own a g600 and I got to say that in most things I agree with what you've said in the video. I'm very surprised that you didn't find it too big or bulky. I've got a medium size hand but sometimes, especially after longer use it makes my hand feel a little tired. Overall it's a great mouse for MMO's or anyone who needs extra buttons. I was pretty torn between the Naga 2014 and the G600 but I'm glad i went with the logitech.

Surprisingly, I find the G600 fits just fine in my hand; it's comfortable to use for the most part! I only ever use 6 of the buttons on the thumb panel for WoW; the rest, I create macros for on my keypad :D

Great decision picking this over the Naga. It's more reliable than the Naga, but it's a little too wide for FPSs (at least for me); if only they nixed that G-shift button... I got used to it eventually (I play Titanfall, BF4 and what-have-you daily), but it's definitely best for MMOs. The Naga is great for FPSs as well as MMOs because it's narrower, but it has a massively high failure-rate (e.g. single-clicks become double-clicks).

Joanne Tech Lover Yar, I wish they physically removed the G-Shift button and made the mouse narrower. I'm used to it now, but at first, I found the mouse hard to grip because my ring-finger would normally be helping grip the mouse on the right side, but on this mouse, my ring-finger is over the G-Shift button, so my pinky does most of the grip-work.

I've just ordered the white version, it just looks more classy to me. Is the action on the extra ring-finger button the same as the two main buttons? I've never known of a mouse in the past to have an extra button quite like that. Is the scroll wheel quite firm, so it's not easy to accidentally press the wrong function, say left instead of click-- as I remember on a previous Logitech mouse having this issue.

The amount of pressure you need to push in the buttons is more than the resistance the mouse gives when you move it, so to push them in you would need to give enough opposite pressure (ie with pinky) to push the button

i have this mouse and like you i use my thumb to move the mouse my thumb is constantly resting on the buttons they are curved in such a way that your thumb rests perfectly on them and as jobosbaeten stated the buttons aren't as easy to press as say a razer naga. It's pretty hefty too and it feels well built for its price. My only problem would be the mouse wheel i click it to the right its bound to my mount and i feel like it's i guess worn out and i haven't had it for long (the right mouse wheel click is no longer as clicky as the left mouse Wheel)

The buttons do give some resistance, but unless I'm in the heat of battle, I find it relatively easy to move around and cast at the same time. I think it's just something to get used to!

The G500s is pretty good for FPS, but it doesn't have any LEDs :(. However I've been using the G600 since December in just about anything other than an MMO. Skyrim (modded), Battlefield, Call of Duty, Borderlands 2, Civilization, Minecraft, and I think that while it is not inherently optimized for FPS it's versatile enough to play them well. I especially like having the ring finger button for DPI shift for sniping in FPS, and I use the G-Shift for all of my SKYUI loadouts and hotkeyed items in Skyrim.

Joanne Tech Lover the razer naga was first made for right handed but at computex 2013 the ceo sayed if theres more then douzends reply in 2 weeks on facebook they will build an lefthanded one even if they lose money for it and so be it... they had to make an lefthanded one..on another note only razer have made lefthanded mouses and this naga is the second-one they build for leftys all others makes righthanded or bi-handed

I have the razer naga molten and this mouse. I have to say that for MMOs I much prefer this mouse over the naga. It is really comfortable and allows for you to be lazy with your hand. I also prefer the Logitech software and onboard profiles over razers somewhat clunky cloud based system. I would definitely recommend this mouse over the naga. (I have recently switched from a nostromo + naga over to a g600 + g13 and couldn't be happier :)

+TheOfficialNar after using it for a year. its really not a great mouse if you wanna easily press buttons. plus the middle mouse button is going to be almost impossible to get it to register after use.

Andrew Rattle Well, it's solid. Scrolls feel good. It's a bit hard to press so you won't get accidental clicks and when you click it, it won't accidentally scroll also. Feels good overall. I would just like to point out I'm comparing my reactions to a cheapo mouse though.
