I practiced this morning and then watched this. Amazing morning! Great interview! I can't wait to take a class from Lois...I think they are trying to get her back to Helena this year if it's possible.

Iyengar yoga is great but there is not enough time allotted to feel the poses in the classes. The consciousness can not really feel during class because of it is constantly being bombarded with ques. Or feel what it's like to go from pose to pose to pose throughout a whole class with out losing the energy built from going pose to pose to pose to pose. Which can be a good way to practice. It's like doing sets of weight lifting and breaking for a couple minutes after every set. I think Iyengar yoga needs more flow or Vinyasa throughout the whole class and less stopping and going.

Iyengar yoga gives you many tools to use in your own home practice.

The higher in level u go up in Iyengar yoga, the longer you hold the poses. Sounds like u are ready to advance! Try level 3+ and get ready to hold!!😂 My favorite actually cuz while u are "feeling " the poses the teacher is telling a nice story. I truly love Patanjali Yoga.
