/ loisdavidsonart www.etsy.com/uk/shop/OwlsAndF... In this video I want to share with you one of my simple exercises to help me to loosen up my watercolour painting by creating a loose landscape with simple brushstrokes and the wet in wet technique, using mostly large brushes to help me to stay loose and not get bogged down with too much detail. I'm painting an imaginary landscape using one colour: paynes grey, and letting the paint and water do it's thing and see what I end up with.
I'm using various brushes, see video, but mostly bamboo hake/flat brushes from AliExpress, I'm afraid I didn't save the link as I purchased them a while ago, but you should be able to find something similar there. Any hake brush or large flat will do the same job with a bit of practice.
Part 2 showing this process to create a different landscape will be posted in a day or 2.
My board is tilted at around 45 to 60 degrees so the water and paint flows nicely. Many thanks for watching, please like and subscribe! Thanks so much to all my Patrons on Patreon for supporting this channel :-) / loisdavidsonart
