The Actor who played Old Loki cannot get enough credit. His "turn" from running to fighting was quick, but he put so much heart into it that you just had to go with him. Like the moment he shows up he commands your attention. And he keeps it up to the point where you really go fists in the air for him. He was FANTASTIC. I am sure he has a glorious Purpose.

Notice how Old Loki turned his head softly when Mobius told him it's never too late to change he felt the pure heart and compassion he had for him and if this doesnt show how much potential all the Marvel TV shows have from Daredevil to Punisher they arent tapped out we want more stories that show this type of humility. Cause at the end of the day that's what connects us to these stories

The issue with this 6 episode season is that 3 or 4 was pure filler with no real story or character progression, so it could've probably been done better as a longer movie.

Christian I disagree it showed alot of insight on the smaller characters in Loki to which a direct quote mentions that his actions lead to the best versions of others. So all those small instances are leading to big moments where each need to decide where they stand in their story much like Loki being faced first hand with his actions and the consequences that follow them. All the characters in the show are experiencing that same path. Hunter C could've stayed loyal to the TVA and not questioned anything, yet she made the choice after being around Loki's seeing their disregard for fabricated ideas made her unafraid to do the same in her story.

This episode was easily the worst in my book. Nothing really happened. Everything that played a role was introduced in this episode and noone really progressed. Yeah they enchanted the cloud, but that whole "fight" didn't work for me either. I thought they'd get info from the cloud, but now it's just some portal? The Loki betrayls where fun, but like... It serves nothing. The entire episode can be skipped on a rewatch and you won't lose any plot points

That would actually be the most fulfilling ending to me. Yeah, there's a lot of hints towards Kang, and while that'd be cool, I don't think they'll make this big epic reveal/face-off in the final episode between Loki and Kang, especially when he's suppose to appear in Ant Man and going forward. The other theory is that it's some Elder Loki variant who has been behind everything, which is why all the Lokis have been hunted, but that just would be a way too safe, contained, cop-out ending just like Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Having someone other than those two, who is also a character from the comics can help to set up Kangs introduction, and would be a perfect encapsulation of Lokis character where he thinks he's saved the day and yet unwittingly unleashes an even greater threat that leads to the events of the Phase 4 movies. If they didn't want this series to affect the MCU/Phase 4 that greatly then they shouldn't have done a time travel show teasing multiple timelines/universes and expect it to just be its own side thing like all the other TV show properties, rather than have a real major connection to future MCU projects. I have my doubts that the finale will deliver, but I guess we'll see.

And then we could look back on that moment when he called the entire TVA an illusion and go “Ohhh!” I really don’t get the same payoff by introducing not!Kang at the 11th hour. But I get that they have to set up the next phase in the MCU and the ending was still pretty great in a twilight zone sort of way.

I think it will happen, since classic loki told our loki that he faked his death by projecting himself in such a real manner, Thanos and everyone really believed he had been killed and then the ship blew up and he was gone. Our loki now knows of this, and when he gets slotted back into his reality, I'm sure he will remember to do that. Plus, there wont be any TVA anymore assuming Loki does end it but idk yet

I think thematically it makes more sense that he was there physically to help Loki and Sylvie. He's not the same Loki he once was when he survived Thanos attack. He's changed, you can see it when he's full of his "backstabbing and untrustworthy nature", and seeing that the other Loki (tom hiddleston) could actually count on someone, made him realise even HIM can change for the better. And THAT is his glorious purpose. But that's my 2 cents.

the script writers nailed this episode, they led you on to want a certain outcome or to see a certain thing and then they gave you exactly that so you felt satisfied. Like how owen wilson just offered a handshake and you wanted to see a bro hug and wham they gave it. The acting was fantastic, you could see the relief on sylvie when Loki said he would stay with her. You saw old school Loki do awesome old school magic it was just great, 10/10 nailed it all the way, better than some of the films by far.

@angryjoeshow How did you guys miss how classic Loki talked about how he survived Thanos with the projection? Our Loki hears that and now he knows how to survive his death by Thanos. Go back and watch that scene in Infinity War and look in the background as Loki is being killed. In the background in space, you can see what appears to be Loki outside the ship with the horn helmet. Some talked about that when the movie first came out, but now we know how he will survive. If you don't believe go back and watch the scene in Infinity War.

I read somewhere that most likely the end villain is "He Who Remains". They can hint also at Kang in the end to setup Ant-Man, but as someone here said the end villain wont be Kang. Makes a lot of sense to me :)

Every one of those shows has a porpose of something to add up to the MCU. Something that will show up again in one of the future movies, right? We now have the white Vision to show up at some point... Sam is now Captain America and next time we see him in a movie, he has a much more important role to play. So the question remains about Loki. At first you think the show is a way to bring him back from death into future movies.. but now we have Sylvie. Unfortunately I don't think they can both survive and come to the MCU in future films. Only one of them will... It makes more sense that Sylvie does. As this is her introduction and Loki is carrying her there. He will sacrifice himself and die as a true hero and she will carry on his legacy into future films.

Did anyone else notice how close the ending was to The Wizard of OZ? The big creature was the curtain, it turned green and revealed the castle (like the Emerald City) when it was defeated. The girl and original Loki were Dorothy and the Scarecrow, Kid Loki and Classic Loki were the Tin Man and The Lion (who overcomes his fear and "roars"). Hell, even the aligator Loki was like Toto. All that was missing was the yellow brick road.

All the landscape in "Limbo" are easter eggs. Missing ships. UFOs. Certain characters helmet. Ships from previous movies. The Avengers tower destroyed with QENG logo on it, Tony sold it to QENG, which is the company an offset variant of Kang runs. One of the heads of the Living Tribunal. President Loki, which is a series of comics. Marvel really impressed me on this one. I had to dig some shots going frame by frame to get some of it. The place in the very end is where "He who remains" lives. But I think they will rewritte him to fit in the series motto.

My current theory is that Kang is a prisoner of the TVA and Alioth was his warden. I expect a double conclusion, A-15 and Mobius burn down the TVA while Loki and Sylvie accidentally set Kang free. I feel like if Kang is the big bad pulling the strings, he still needs to be around and be a threat in order for him to be the villain in ant man. Meaning if Kanf is the big bad there won't be a good pay off at the end of this series, But revealing a true alternative purpose behind the TVA and setting Kang free from the TVA's prison would set up the new Ant man and give us a solid conclusion.

What is Loki learns the projection trick from classic Loki and survives the Thanos neck snap. The reason why several episodes back of the film of Loki seeing his own death is from a distance was because the film records Loki looking at his decoy dying in Thor's arms. Loki actually escapes and gets back with Sylvia in a classic sweet Captain America & Peggy type ending.
