I guess you can't please everyone. People complained about the wandavision finale not having greater implications for the mcu and it being a cgi action fest. Yet people complained about the loki finale for having too much exposition that actually set up greater implications for the mcu and not enough action. I thought it was a great season finale for loki. Similar to a season of supernatural, there was resolution to the main season long story: who created the tva and why. It then ended on a cliffhanger that sets up season 2.

For example, when Sylvie meets the other variant Loki's our Loki introduces them by saying "us" in the future, us as a kid, etc. Not to mention it was Jonathan Majors who is confirmed to be playing the other Kangs by Feige himself. It's a little confusing I know, but make no mistake it was a Kang. Just not one of the SUPER evil ones. He even says "see you soon" when he's dying, referring to the other Kang variants who are now free to create havoc across time and space once again.

I think the ending is one of the Kangs that was released because of all the new chaos. He went to work fast. He discovered the TVA. And got control of it. Wiped their memories. What looks like it was a couple minutes for Loki might’ve been thousands of years for this new TVA controlling Kang. I don’t get the theory that Loki was sent to another universe TVA because they said that there was only 1 TVA and it exist outside of the timelines.

They're both in places removed from time, while you can go to anytime on earth time still passes at the TVA (how that one variant had memories from hundreds of years prior). So Kang can take over the TVA, or create it, by going back in time after discovering time travel. So when Loki was thrown in there, Immortus had "already" been killed.

I saw a theory which I liked which was that what caused the branch on lamentis wasnt loki and sylvie’s romance but their death. Kang speaks about how he had search forever for a replacement and decided it could only be them and only he knew they were on lamentis and weren’t supposed to be, hence why the TVA’s sensors picked up a branch during an apocalypse

When I first watched the episode I thought Jon's performance was a bit TOO hammy and felt things were being dragged out, but man if it didn't click for me on subsequent rewatches when I wasn't worried about the time remaining. I can't wait to see him as The Conqueror now.

I theorized that idea of Wanda hearing her kids is likely because the multiverse is breaking and she is hearing them from overlapping multiverses. Gosh that was such a great breakdown!

There was a scene that never made it into the show, where Sylvie and Loki were hesitating to sit in the chairs that He Who Remains pointed at them to take, and he said, "Please. If I was going to blow up the chairs, I could just blow up the floor you're standing on."
