The headset and headphones being separate is actually very common/useful among people who stream online gameplay live with their mates, who might not have any to be heard. This way, they have 2 separately manageable channels of audio that they can hear, but neither hearing the other. One for the stream, one for the team. Edit : Oh, and 9277 is probably supposed to be a generic royalty free sound clip known as "Metal Scrape 9277". You hear it a lot on cheap mixers and soundboards.

Also I think from watching other videos. If you plug into headset other than audio. If you headset / iems/ buds headset have a mic it will use the mic from that set if it has one 👍🏻

@@Barbereing Yeah, just depends on the jack + cable. If it's an extended 4pin one, rather than 3pin, and BOTH parts are... it'll work with a mic.

I wish you wouldn’t play the background music when you are testing sound on equipment. It makes it SO HARD to hear what the mic really sounds like or if the music is messing with it.

I have one called a v8 that almost does the same thing and about 9/10 things are similar. That one LOOKS much nicer though. The problem i haven encountered is lag. Its behind by a good half a second when streaming all audio combined.

Hi @loknows thank you very much for the review. Just purchased one but I cannot make it work recording to my laptop. Any recommended software that this works with? I was trying to use wavepad and mixpad. The voice recording is good but it cuts out musical instruments. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I know the video is 2 months old but if you see my question I hope you can help me. I'm trying to connect Xisono Podcasting to my Behringer XENYX 802 Mixer but every time I connect the mic to the Xisono it makes bad noise and and if I connect my microphone to the mixer it does not detect it ( no sound from the mic) I do not know what to do. The reason why I have a mixer is because I have a studio speaker connected to the PC and I would like to have everything connected to the mixer. I hope you can help me. thank you

Yeah i got this for the Tonor mic cause I needed an xlr type plugin but you didn’t really show how to set it up for the pc, im lost right now and just really need help with it. Or if it even works with the tonor mic

Quick question. I’m going to do a try-out with some friends and i’m thinking of buying a sort of setup that you just reviewed. I will connect 2 extra mics and use a macbook as recorder. Will the macbook pickup 3 separate audio tracks? Or do you recommend to connect the other 2 mics with usb to the computer (again a try out, it we like it we will invest in some more professional equipment) Thanks!!

Why didn't you turn on the 48 volts? Doesn't that cripple the performance of the mic?

Not all microphones support it; if you use 48V phantom power in a non-supported microphone, they may burn.
