Hello Mike and Nancy! One of my dental patients is a world cruiser with you! That's how my husband and I became aware of your videos. We watch all your videos, and we can't wait for each release. It's like we are taking your vacation with you! If you see Hans, tell him Joan, his dental hygienist, is watching! He should be easy to pick out, he wears white pants and a white shirt every day...always! Keep up the good work!

That’s awesome! We absolutely will tell him that you say hello when we see him.😉

While the trash littering the beach is sad, part of the adventure is getting off the beaten path and learning how people in other countries live. We have friends that don’t like doing excursions in the Caribbean and Mexico because of the obvious signs of poverty. Not every place is picture perfect. Seeing the bad as well as the good gives you a better understanding of what people are trying to escape in certain areas of the world.

Don't know how you guys do it. Just got off 14 alaskan cruise The temptation all around.... The deserts, big breakfasts, any time pizza, ice cream, pastries etc... You guys must have amazing self control.
@livingphase28 ай бұрын
Some days are hard with the self-control. But we just cannot eat like we would on a seven day cruise. Usually we don’t snack throughout the day. However, it’s not uncommon for us to have dessert after dinner. And that is not something we would do at home.

We are enjoying your adventures. We have been full-time traveling for 9 years. After returning from 4 months in South America and Mexico a year ago, we headed to Vancouver Island for 2 months and spent the last year traveling south around the US. Next week, we enter Quebec for the summer. It all becomes a blur at times. Thank goodness for my Facebook memories. Be careful though. Traveling is addictive. Keep up the great videos.

So sad to see that much trash, I can't believe they don't make an effort to clean that up! Glad you had fun anyway!!
@clarehagley21658 ай бұрын
The trash comes from the ocean, usually from December to February. I was on a medical tour of Bali and we were told about the rubbish issues. As well as what Bali is trying to do to lessen the amount of rubbish by recycling. Bali rakes up the rubbish on the beaches and leaves in small piles. Later in the day a truck comes around and collects the rubbish. We also witnessed lots of elderly Balinese people collecting plastic bottles to earn money. As a tourist, I made sure that I separate my recycling ♻️ in the hotel room and left on bench. The room cleaning staff were thankful for help with recycling.

Living on the west coast of Australia, we are regular Bali visitors. We decided to try Lombok in April 2020. Well, we all know how that year turned out 😂 unfortunately, there are still no airlines flying direct, so back to Bali we go 😊 I'm still very keen to go to the Gilis for the snorkelling. Hopefully soon 🤞 really looking forward to seeing your Bali vlog 🌺🇲🇨 thanks for sharing!

@@christineoneill9307 Maybe I saw one of their short TikTok videos. But having my uncle and my father having dementia and Alzheimer’s it scares me.
@livingphase28 ай бұрын
That is correct, but remember our videos are behind where the ship actually is due to the time it takes for us to edit and as we've always said we won't let doing our video scrapbook interfere with this once in a lifetime Adventure. So, no, not losing your mind, you can tell your husband that you were right. 😃

It’s sad that in Indonesia and other Asian countries they have yet to take on that trash is pollution. We have been to Bali many times and it is improving. Lombok is mainly an island,that many people live on. Not so much of a holiday island.

Is it trash that washes up from the ocean or their trash? Gross either way that they wouldn’t want to keep that area clean.
