LON Poison Nova Necro Speed Farm T16 upwards (2.6.5 PTR)

I was fairly tired when recording this so excuse the copious amounts of 'er' 'erm' and 'you know' in the audio A bit different this one, but useful if you find a really good ancient (or even Primal) Bloodtide or Nayr's. I might get chance to work on this in season 17, but it will depend on my drops, and what catches my eye during the season. I think there are some more swaps, so any suggestions are welcome on making it better, faster, stronger etc. Thanks for watching FC

Fun fact this was my leveling set-up for necro this season. I was looking for a build like this. Use Briggs as a ring and some pickup radius with averice band& boon of the hoarder. It will serve as a suit-of condemn for density and suck it together, triggering strong arms. Great video!

For T16 rifts and bounties this works with bloodrush instead of frailty. Just swap in goldwrap and avarice band instead of unity. Then add the boots of course and it clears very very quickly

Curious about your thoughts on Briggs Wrath Ring to help group enemies for Bloodtide Blade.

Hi George Wasn't lucky enough to come across an ancient one so didn't get to test. It offers a useful value, but in honesty, trash gets melted with all Bloodtide Blade builds so personally I'd rather take COE for more damage or Unity for more toughness. The weakness with the Bloodtide is the single target, and I don't think Briggs helps with that. Although, it limits the amount of single target by dragging mobs in I saw Lord Fluffy's T16 build and it did look baller though, so definitely something to play round with (although he had Avarice band too, and Goldwrap, which restricted it purely to Torments and not GRs)

Thanks Denis, I liked your suggestions for the bone spike swap too. The Golem on poison and autocast might work, although I'd probably get annoyed with audio clip that would play repeadtedly when it was unavailable. You'd just have to check essences levels though, as with no generator, the only way to get it back would be killing stuff. Might test some more in Season 17. Thanks 😀

@@FilthyCasual96 Yeah I figured that Skeletons consume too much essence (you need essence for nova) and Golem consume corpses (you need corpses for lance). So the suggestions weren't great. You can set auto-Poison Bone Spirit, but I think it will be annoying since the animation is long and it stops your character course every 5 seconds (and less if you consume corpse), and in addition this poison skill makes ennemy fear which is not great for a nova build. Maybe an auto-Poison Siphon blood (Power shift) can do the job, but i guess it will compete with an auto-poison lance. Yeah, there are sometimes race conditions with auto-numlock keys. So finally, no a clear automatic solution. You have to press manually your keys :)

I kind of wish Nayr's buffed all poison damage from you, instead of just your poison skills. Would love if it affected things like Pox Faulds and Andariel's Visage.

Why not use scythe of the cycle instead? That way you don’t need four poison abilities.

AvatP5 good swap idea - only downsides are that it reduces duration of bone armour when a nova procs. That’s fine, because of high cdr and zodiac, but it means less zodiac procs are funnelled to LOD Also, poison multiplier works for Corpse Lance making that super powerful Worth a try though 👍🏻👍🏻

@@FilthyCasual96 Also, Using the Scythe of the Cycle with an offhand, grants extra LoN damage multiplier as you have an additional ancient item equipped. The bloodtide blade can be cubed instead?

Alexander D it’s a viable swap, but going from 12-13 ancients is only about an 8% damage increase and the two handed hits a lot harder. Even accounting for the damage lots by not having an offhand, I think damage wise it’s about equal The extra CDR on the offhand would be nice, but it still has the issue with reducing bone armour duration and funnelling zodiac procs away from LOD. Also no poison multiplier on corpse lance I’d have to test both, and the bar would be free of bone spikes (maybe) if you could kill enough stuff to remove it Choices, choices 🤷🏻‍♂️😂😂

I had the same thought, but only play solo. You might want to take Briggs Wrath instead of Unity if doing groups, as this would pull in the trash towards you

@@FilthyCasual96 In pushing groups it's typically someone else's job to run around and group up mobs. You'd be better served by a CoE. It's also usually a non-DPS's job to have the Nemesis Bracers as well, so you could probably swap them for Strongarm for damage or Ancient Parthan's if you need more toughness.
