Yay you got my table at 06:32 :). I agree with your points about 'fodder' I'm all about complete in box and selling games people want to play. :)

@@WizbitsrandomgamingLucky guess :). Although I do enjoy talking to Tubers, say hello next time (Unless I'm busy selling my Mega Drive Mini build or a game which I think was doing when you shot my table) I'll be trading a Doncaster soon so lets see how that goes. First time there!

You rightly called out that person towards the end of the video for his high prices. That Animal Crossing Monopoly has been around £8 in The Entertainer for months -- still available right now! -- and I think he has it priced at £15. Similar story for Super Bullet Break. Was around £10-12 on The Game Collection until recently, and he has it at £30. Absolute chancer.

I'm all for supporting indies but not at a huge cost to myself And people wonder why buyers use CEX..

I agree with what you said about the stock some stalls had. I was at the event with my brother and we both left feeling disappointed with what we saw. Like you said most of these sellers have stores which stock really high end or unique items.

I have been to a few London gaming markets but to be honest they have run their course a bit for me, prices always seem to be high with little benefit. The only thing about them now is the opportunity to catch up with friends and the community.

I am starting to feel exactly that way myself Definitely always nice to catch up with people at such events

That Gameboy Mercenary Force looked amazing, one of my grails that one, but £60! Great video mate.

@Wizbitsrandomgaming well CEX sell complete with manual for £25, but it's never in stock, but if I saw it for £30 somewhere, I'd grab it! 😄

Looks much the same as the Milton Keynes market I went to a few weeks ago, a lot of overpriced stuff and fodder. I think the shops have this fodder boxed up out back and it’s easier to load this stuff up for a market rather than strip their shelves. Agree about Switch code in box, total waste of time any day of the week
@InvictusLifts15 күн бұрын
Hey man agree with what you said, felt the switch was under represented to be honest but I get it isn’t retro yet. I bought off that seller that you mentioned with the switch games hahahaa

Just saw your vid with retro geto, and you mentioned about selling the 360 kiosk stand. I'm in desperate need of the acrylic casing for the console for my one. Is there any chance I could purchase it if you please?!!!

Sounded a bit hit and miss. Prices are often an odd thing at those events. I understand folk need to recoup costs of stalling out but most buyers who have done their research aren’t going to pay over cex / ebay averages. That said a few sellers (Tooty 👍👍👍) will always do a cracking deal and knock money off. I’ll try to get to the next ones; trains were on the creek which put me off this week 😂.
@Wizbitsrandomgaming15 күн бұрын
Exactly Ed, like I mention it's good to support the independent guys We need them but don't be charging 3 x the price a game goes for in CEX
@VirajKathwadia13 күн бұрын
Ahh, I was wondering where you were, I had some new stock too! Oh well next time, I'll be at Doncaster next (hopefully if they accept my application to trade)
@VirajKathwadia13 күн бұрын
@@Wizbitsrandomgaming This is something I am concious of as a trader, ebay/price charting and CEX is something I look at. However CEX don't often have the items I have in stock so when I check their prices they haven't been updated in eons. Ebay and price charting are ambigious because I trade on condition which is something that affects my prices. I will charge a fair premium for good quality items. Thats the standard I operate at...but within reason of course.

@@RetroEdUK It was alright and yes they probably should have held it at the end of the month when people get paid. I was 25% down on takings from last year but I did well for what it was. I'll be at the Doncaster one on the 24th.
