With London in Lockdown Joolz takes you on a walk along the River Thames from Embankment to London Bridge.
Also deserted London Sights: Trafalgar Square, Parliament Square, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Buckingham Palace.
You will learn all about the history of Cabman Shelters, Joseph Bazalgette and his Victorian sewage system.
Then also Cleopatra's Needle and a Roman Bath in London.
Have you ever wondered if the Queen really needs permission from the Lord Mayor of London to enter the City? Joolz explains all about William The Conqueror and how he started this tradition.
Then the house of the richest man in America, William Waldorf Astor who lived at 2, Temple Place. Blackfriars Bridge and Roberto Calvi, God's banker and police boxes shaped like the TARDIS.
It's then on past The Tate Modern and Millennium Bridge with its chewing Gum artist and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Ending at Borough Market.
This walk through history along The River Thames is packed with information and fun.

No need to cry for London. It's endured far worse incidence in history than the current pandemic. The last wave of the Black Death in 1665 was far more deadly, then the City was virtually wiped out in the Great fire of 1666. Nearly one third of central London was destroyed during the German bombing 1940-44. The current pandemic wlll pass just like everything else. The City of London is nearly 2,000 years old and will always survive.

Love visiting my favorite town in the world 🌍 while my me and my family practice self isolation in Alabama USA . According to a DNA 🧬 Kit I’m 65% British and 35% Scandinavian ...and my husband is French (guess opposites do attract;)...but says he would be happy to live anywhere that has some real history!...So we hope to retire in the UK🇬🇧 And use your guidance to help us narrow down where we should buy!! Is there really a 50% “DEATH TAX” for us to leave property we purchase to our children? We were supposed to come to UK/Europe for Christmas...🎄....but our travel plans are on hold because of covid19 .... Thanks again for all your wonderful tours!! And we hope to book a private tour or several the very first time we are able to come back!!!!🇬🇧x
