Buzi, do you can do more videos on double decker buses, like this awesome and amazing this one? I wish and hope so.....

Is it really the full journey? Or are there any missing parts of the route? I hate when I commit to check long drives only to discover that there are huge chunks missing! By the length of the video, it should be the whole thing... ~8h:40m is what Google Maps says it takes, but that's usually for cars, buses drive slower, so I'm unsure...

That was a really nice trip, watched over a few days. I saw The Angel of The North and loads of other places I'll never get to see in real life. Thanks to who it was that filmed it, you have made an old timer happy. Regards.

It's great to watch in pieces - and really beautiful towards the north end - but the idea of doing it all at once makes me really appreciate the railways!

As the bus came off the motorway I wondered where he was going because I didn't really recognise the area, But then the driver announced that we were in Durham, it's a place that I have never really been to before but I gather it's quite a historical city much like Bath, York or Chester. I love those sort of places, they have so much character and charm, often very beautiful places to visit.

In my experience of driving buses between London and Edinburgh is that the 2nd time is easier than the 1st, but not much different the third time and so on.

Is this megabus?
@neilburns88694 ай бұрын
A real difference in the volume of traffic once you pass the Catthorpe Interchange which is basically where the M6 starts. I often think that the M6 is better motorway than the M1. Although the M1 gets all the attention, the M6 you could argue is better built for purpose and provides a much more direct route to Scotland and Glasgow which is arguably the 3rd or 4th biggest city in the UK - without any doubt the biggest city in Scotland.

It took a very long time but now the a1 is motorway from the outskirts of doncaster to scotch corner. There is also speculation that the great north road ai will be dualled between morpeth and berwick upon tweed. It is up to the labòur transport secertary to implement the proposal.

I think it let's you see just how big and important a City Manchester has become for the Northern half of England that even though we are on the wrong side of the country - Manchester is generally thought of as being in the North West of England and therefore closer to the M6 which serves the Western half of the UK than the M1 but yet there's still a major road dedicated for to take traffic from the M1 just North of Sheffield to the 3rd largest city in the UK and is sometimes referred to as the Northern Powerhouse. It's why it has probably the biggest international airport outside of London in the UK.

Why do busses have to stop so close to the cars in front of them almost looks like they gonna hit someone
@neilburns88694 ай бұрын
That's the first time ever i have saw a bus pull into a service station on a motorway to fill up with diesel when it's had passengers on board. Still, not bad going - got up to Nottinghamshire before he needed to pull jn to the BP filling station.

As the bus makes its way northwards between Newcastle upon Tyne and Edinburgh on both sides of the road you are able to see bright yellow fields. For those of you who are perhaps unfamiliar with what they are it's Rapeseed which is ground down into an oil very similar to sunflower oil or vegetable oil for cooking with and Rapeseed oil is often favoured over other oils because it's not supposed to burn so easily. My apologies, lecture over for today.

You may be interested in making a similar video for the London to Glasgow route on board the Megabus M11 route that includes stops at Birmingham, Manchester Airport, Manchester City centre, Preston, Lancaster University and Glasgow. It takes the M40 between London and Birmingham, the M6 between Birmingham and Carlisle before taking the M74 up to the M73 and the M8 into Glasgow City centre.

Sounds good 👍 I might do that soon
