Excellent time for a review of the manbily (after 4 months of diligent use) and it seems to have scored well with you which speaks well of its quality. I'm going to get me an ARCA swiss next time, I'm sure my current set of sticks are on the way out soon . . . CSMF P.S. nice shot on that boar :)

I suppose its right to get the height of the Manbilly correct and tight to your comfort levels before you go out. Dont want to be crouching or reaching. Nice shot on the boar

Nice video. Thank you. On CF tripods. Been using them for 3 decades for photography work and for the last few years for shooting. I suggest you and anyone else use the full extension of the thickest tubes and the least necessary of the thinest lower tubes. Should be self explanatory.

Another great video Brian , yes the ball mount is the ay to go , I use one from another company , thanks for sharing .

Warrior tripods the chief ball mount is what I use. Carbon fiber legs and very lite. You should take a look. One stick adjusts both.

looks like those bullets really work well for you. any new ones coming up that you want to try?

@lennardperry5184 Nothing at this moment. You have any suggestions?

@@CarpeSus I have always been a fan of the old school round nose bullets. if I can find some I will send them to you if you have a mailing address. your boys at druid hill can load for you.

Have you tried any of the PSA 6.5 loadings yet? Their polymer tip is half the price of Hornady custom but the same projectile.

@SuspiciousGanymede AAC Sabre Blade Black Tip? Yep.

@@CarpeSus I wondered if you ran out of bullets to test... you've covered a lot of them. Thanks.

Brian, question.... When you are hunting at night, do you put any thought into what you wear, as far as, All black, or do you wear any camo? I know it does not snow much in TX but when it did, did you change to a white....or do you find that it does not matter at all? Cuz it's dark?
@CarpeSusАй бұрын
@@jeffreinardy7570 Hogs can see fairly well and better than humans in the dark. Based on what Ben wears, it does not matter. I wear earth tones to mostly not stick out for those few times when it might.

Or the Manbily falling off the rifle
@CarpeSusАй бұрын
Given that the rifle weighs more...
@rayzee7561Ай бұрын
4 lbs. is pretty light for that tripod. I'm surprised at the weight. My BOG is close to 8 lbs.
@CarpeSusАй бұрын
I think folks have options at a lot of weight levels. This is more steady than my Trigger Sticks, but less steady than a buddy's old school Manfroto video camera tripod that weights a ton (15 lbs?). I would guess your BOG is a big more steady than the Manbily, based solely on weight.

@@CarpeSus I greatly appreciate how you are doing your videos. A little information never hurt anyone. Reminds me a little of Paul Harrel.
