Cool shit, but a tip for titling these videos is to definitely putting "drawing" and "pixel art" in the title, as well as maybe removing the number from the title. The videos will probably get more views that way!
@liquidatedtoast2933 жыл бұрын
maybe like "Drawing a Lonely Pixel Art Pond", or for the previous video, something like "How to Turn Images into Pixel Art"

Hey I love your design for this video, I have one question though; most game tutorials recommend using tilesets but how would you import something like (a bit more free drawing) this into a program like Unity. And how would you apply collision meshes etc.
@neothespankplank58393 жыл бұрын
you can import it into Potoshop, and import it with Unitys built in psb importer, which separates it into all its layers. then you can simply add a polygon collider roughly matching the shapes of the surroundings. However if it is a topdown game, remember the point of interest (collision wise) would be your characters feet, not their entire body. Working with tilesets is way more time efficient tho, and handdrawn details can be added onto a tileset base as well.

hey I have a Question.. I want to make a game with similiar art style what would be a proper approach to implement this artstyle in my game? is it possible to make this kind of thing with tileset?

btw loved your art and this channel
@PixelOverloadChannel3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think it would be possible with a top down tile-set where you can see the top and sides of blocks. Good luck!

@@PixelOverloadChannel how can i make a big tree in the tileset? like the one with big roots you made? I was thinking making entire scene on photoshop and export it in the png? Please help me with this...
@PixelOverloadChannel3 жыл бұрын
@@50percent80 hmm that is tricky. Maybe try drawing the tree first and then chopping it up into tiles.
