This is a longer one! 15 km (9Mi) round trip. 🛶
Come enjoy the Nepewassi River. There were too many beaver houses to count and some very large dams to climb over. I couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was perfect. I had an encounter with a family of otters who had some things so say as I was passing through. There were also some quartz vanes, so I may return to do some rock hounding 🪨 for my rock tumblers.
Skip to the time laps version with tunes: 3:50:40

I am at about the 1:30 mark now. What a spectacular day! I lost count of the lodges. So many lodges! Those dams are monstrous. Makes a person wonder how many years they've been at that job, eh? This one is going on my "replay to relax" list for sure, Gene! Thank you and hope you have a great weekend!

I paddled right past a few and didn't even see them. They have been there a while. There would be dozens of beavers in that system. Thanks! Same to you!

When I first started watching you fight the beavers I thought when that guy that owns that canoe comes I hope he will be friendly. Little did I know that was how you got there. Really

Canada is so beautiful! But, I could never handle the weather. I live in the American South and we already are having seventy degree weather here. A nine mile canoe trip! How do your arms stand it? Thanks for posting this trip, Gene. It was a lot of fun!

It really is, 🇨🇦. I don't blame you, it's an acquired taste, 🥶. Sounds nice there, I could handle 70 degrees. Lots of practice, 💪 🛶. Lol. You're welcome, I appreciate all the comments.
