Good work Lee. I think the Lake District makes a fantastic location no matter what weather you get. Great shots - I particularly like the leading line of the fence in that last one.

Thanks for watching mate and the sub, really appreciate it. Wastwater is a stunning area, sadly a fair distance from where i live so cant get there in a regular basis, but worth the effort when you do !

That shed and tree image was fantastic mate!, Waswater looks the goods Lee and you came through with them on this vlog. The B&W was stunning and my favorite from this video.

We can get too hung up on sunrise and sunset I think Lee - the images you caught with the changing light and sumptuous summer greens typify this season in the Lake District - the tree and the building being my favourite. It’s just great to be out in the glorious landscape and as you said, shoot in the conditions and at the time you are there. Very enjoyable film and Stuart came up with the goods again for you 👍🏻

Thanks Andrew , there were so many places to see and visit up there and to do them all at sunset or sunrise is just impossible, you would need a holiday after ! Still one of my favourite places the lake district

Some of my favorite videos are where a photographer leaves his local area to photograph a new place, and you absolutely nailed this one mate! Stunning location and beautiful conditions with those low, moody clouds. The image with the tree on the lake was a stunner, as they all were, but that one really stood out to me. Just went and checked out Stuart's channel as well, fantastic photographer. Great stuff as always mate, I've really enjoyed this series!

Pleasure to help mate - I’ve been shooting wastwater for donkeys given it’s 10mins from home, amazingly I’ve never actually shot that little shed with the tree, you’ve done a superb job with that image I must say, certainly inspired me to have a better look at it 👍

Hi Stuart, thanks for taking the time to have a look at my vlog and for your kind words , im really pleased you like the image means a lot coming from yourself so thank you. Its a stunning area and i would kill to only be ten mins from home. Your tip on parking for Walla Crag was also a blinding tip and made the walk up there somewhat easier , that was a lovely location. Thanks again , take care and hope to see you again when i get the chance to get up there again, hopefully sooner rather than later, cheers mate !

One of my favourite ever UK locations and somewhere I wish I could get to more…..it always seems to have different weather than elsewhere in the LD. That shot with the tree and the hut (particularly for me) the wider shot was fabulous Lee, a really great shot. In my experience there it’s a tough location in terms of getting it right SR or SS and takes a decent amount of planning as depending on the time of year the sun can be lost behind the mountain ranges at either end of day leaving the valley or not quite entering the valley when the light is soft and golden. As you mention, being able to visit more frequently I’m sure you’d get a handle on it but even for me this is one of the remotest locations and a heck of a drive to get to. Excellent vlog mate and excellent images throughout 👍🏻

Thanks Dave, it's a great location , we visited a few years ago, we came in via hard knott pass , that a road to drive ! We spent hours there and left in the dark , that was a experience especially driving back over hard knott in the dark lol. We had a great week up there just reminded me how much I love the area , just wish I lived closer so I could visit far more often . I did also prefer the wider image of the tree . Just something about wastwater .

What a great location Lee, some corking images.. loved the tree image @ 5:40 I have only ever been to the Lakes once and didn't get chance to see Waswater but I think it is a must if I ever get back there. Nice of Stuart to point out some locations for you. Nothing like a cuppa in the open air like that. Enjoyed that watch lee.. nice one. atb Al

Great work Lee, stunning images of a beautiful area. I have to agree with you re Stuart McGlennon too, for sharing his local knowledge. I may be wrong but I get the impression that some of the pros would be somewhat hesitant in giving this kind of help and support.

Thanks for the sub and watching mate, yes I agree I think some pros may not want to share any local knowledge with a hobbiest like me especially if they are selling workshops etc , still a really nice guy Stuart and if you haven't already his channel is well worth a sub !

Fantastic video, and as I think Andrew Hamilton mentioned we as photographers can get fixated on sunsets and sunrises when the best quality light can sometimes be any time of the day depending on the weather conditions. My favourite image as 05:40, that would make a cracking print 👍
