2019 Black Label with all white exterior and interior. 60k miles and I’ve had cam phasers done for cold start noise, and transmission valve plate replaced under TSB warranty, due to occasionally shifting to park on freeway and engine stopping. That took a while to diagnose and fix. It felt like a missed shift with a loud clunk, then lost power for a few seconds and check engine light came on, coast for a few seconds and power came back. It was very disconcerting and I was ready to get rid of it. They fixed it a few months ago and no problems since. I had thought about getting something newer, but now that this is fixed, it really is tough to justify. I can’t justify the money for the new Lincoln, as the new styling isn’t to my taste and not much has changed. I thought about the Escalade, but with all the lifter and DOD/AFM issues, I have no interest in a newer LS/LT engine. I think I’ll drive this for another 60,000 miles and see what’s out there.

I completely agree, I looked at Escalades also, have no interest in the GM 5.3/6.2l to problematic and no low end power like the Ford 3.5l! I am running mine as of now till around 125-150k mile range! unless some crazy lease deal falls in my lap!

2019 Navi Reserve here, 54k miles. Our experience is that exactly the same as he describes. Same Lincoln emblem replaced, cam phasers fixed, also had our backup camera replaced, starting to feel the odd transmission shift. Good to hear the trans issue is addressable. HD tow package for towing our 25ft boat. Still absolutely love our Navi!

@ @ yes sure it is! It has 50K miles on it now, no issue at all. And we have the same exact color interior and same brand baby car seat 😂 on the same location! when u open the door I feel that’s my car ! And there’s one thing I wish for this vehicle is , there’s no CD player in the car.

Honestly, I am not sure I'd be able to buy any Ford that has the ecoboost or 10-speed transmission. My work van has both and it just hit 65k miles yesterday, it has the worst shifting transmission I've ever driven (it is a 2020 or 2021). The transmission is complete trash, shifts hard, random shifts, random power cuts that feel transmission related, and sluggish shifting time to time. As for the engine, I know it is tuned differently with less power but the direct injection has all kinds of issues, power loss, limp mode randomly that is surprising easy to fix with a quick restart, but having powerloss while on route sucks with heavy traffic. It has been in the shop a lot over the years. The power is nice, but I'd rather have a V8 than this engine. The camphase sound on cold start up is HORRIBLE!!! I pray that they give me a new van, which will be sadly another Ford, but one without the ecoboost would be nice for a change. My coworker got a brand new Ford van with the non turbo engine and while the van is garbage as a whole with tons of sensor issues, it has had no engine issues and the transmission is still garabage but its a better performing transmission compared to mine.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It seems like you've had your fair share of problems with your work van. Hopefully you get a new one soon! Maybe the Ram Van?

2018 nav lots of problems. Cam phasers, air conditioner condensor pump, external lights going out, communication to the passenger seat. $11k in repairs in 4 months. Oh and 3 coolant leaks. Not enough to require fluid but they were discpvered wheb doing repairs by Ford. Buying used doesnt save much with the repairs.

Wow! I have heard that there were some early issues on the 2018's. I’m sorry to hear about this. Luckily ours is under warranty for another 4 years! It seems all these new cars are hit or miss!

I would get a Ford Excursion with the 7.3 liter Powerstroke diesel. That's just my great video. Happy Holidays and enjoy it stay safe and keep up the great content.

@CTECH-REVIEW same here I think they made them in the wrong years if Ford brought back the Excursion now I think it would be a hotter seller than the Expedition.
