Make sure you get the spartan cores so you can upgrade the grapple hook, soon you'll be able to swing around the map like spider man.

You’ll be able to call in as many weapons as you want soon and give them to the marines. A trick I did early on was give 5 marines rocket launchers and load them all into the Razorback. They’re able to tear through a lot of enemy forces and vehicles (Edit) also the more marines you save the better the equipment you can call it

30:15 if you have your vibration settings turned up or even on, you can feel the spartans heartbeat slowly fade away as he talks to chief and honestly that made me feel more of the emotional take of this scene. Can really feel the life fade away from him as if you were actually there. Just wanted to put that out there, I thought it was a great touch to this moment.

@@danielboyle1647 To be honest, it might be the best weapon in the game. It has incredible range, very accurate, it hits really hard and also you won't kill yourself if you accidentally hit a rock. Even in LASO the weapon is bonkers. Five marines can melt phantoms like nothing even before they deploy their troops.

@@juanjosedelpinorivas7099 didn't know about the melting phantoms thing and disappointed I didn't try it when I did my normal run. Currently on my legendary run and up to the excavation point so I'll give it a shot when I get the beam. And I agree, that weapon is easily the best in the game. The nerfed ammo capacity makes sense when you see how over powered it was and the fact marines don't need to reload makes it even better

@@danielboyle1647 Look for Ultras, those elite targets with shields, the marines will just kill everything from like 100 meters distance. Even if the brute or elite tries to get close, the marines will always prioritize the closest target. It's hilarious to see five beams melting enemies on legendary like nothing. It reminds me of the beams the Hunters have in Halo Wars after being upgraded.

I truly miss the Halo franchise my cousin gave me his super Nintendo when i was little in the 90s playing games like super mario bros Donkey Kong so many memories of mario games since my cousin no longer played it. This was my journey into the world of video games similar to you Dee. Then Gameboy came out and Pokemon which caused my love of gaming grew. Then came the Nintendo 64 the one who started my love with Zelda games could you imagine someone who was used to 2d seeing 3d in games for the first time? It was magical like those who seen colored tv for the first time. When Xbox came out Halo was my first next gen 3d game after Ocarina of time and Majoras mask. Chief was my biggest hero when entering my pre teen years and loved every minute. I can't say how much I cried when my xboxs from the first to the 360 got the red ring of death never to play my favorite characters again. Never stopped loving them. But my heart breaking from my systems constant death broke me from ever wanting a xbox again. (Remember i was a child so easier to be influenced by bad experiences) So PlayStation 2 my second one around the time I had the xbox made my love for sonic games and of coarse Kingdom hearts biggest heartbreak in history my little brother a toddler at the time broke my game disks when he got mad snapping them like a cookie. Then ps3 after moving on afterwards Elder scrolls more sonic games (not as great as the older ones but still fun to an extent) Got the first remixes for the first two Kingdom hearts games reignite my love for them. Even got the pre order with the art book signed by Nomura himself (i think it was a long time ago so take it with a grain of salt) And then my journey continues with the Switch and Ps4 (can't afford a ps5 yet so that adventure may come later) I may give Xbox one more chance just to play this and many other Xbox titles i used to adore

You can play on PC too. The Master Chief collection has all of the Halo's (except for 5) and you can play that on PC too. The new Series S is a really good value. A couple of my friends have them and really like them.

I really like how 343 have been humanizing Chief. You can feel the emotions he's going through in that scene with Griffin just by his silence, and we can't even see his face. There was a few moments I really liked in Shadow of Reach that show his newfound vulnerability too. In the book, he finds his difficult to get his head around why everybody, including an officer who clearly outranks him, seem to be seeking his approval. Eventually he just has to realize that despite how he feels, he's not *just* a soldier, he's *The Master Chief*, and people expect him to swoop in with all the answers.

You really need to keep looking at your motion tracker. Aka the radar on the bottom left corner of the screen. Its a reliable tool in finding enemies in halo. Let's you know where your enemies are too. If they're below or above you.
