@ChesireWaltz5 жыл бұрын
@@muffinedits165 It's better than nothing but the issue is longboarding helmets are made to protect the back of your head and bikes the front. Since when you fall on a longboard it tends to shoot forward and try to throw you off backwards while bikes you tend to go over the front of the handlebars. So they're made for different things and hitting the back of the head is serious so I'd grab a longboarding helmet.

Especially that racist CRT lunacy crap that teaches white kids that they're all racist and black kids that all they have to do is cry and complain to get what they want. Which not only is racist towards white people but it's also degrading towards black people and I don't support it one bit. Hey Spencer I just started out with longboarding and hilariously the hardest part for me is pushing and gaining speed on a longboard, especially on rough surfaces (even sidewalk "cracks") I tend to lose balance when I'm pushing pretty hard (maybe on the 2nd-3rd push) -so my question is: where do you put your weight? I've been putting weight on my pushing foot when I'm pushing, and this is because I've found if I put too much weight on the foot on the board, I tend to get caught up in the cracks on sidewalks (they're reasonably deep here) and the board stops suddenly and I fall over. Thoughts on this?

I just got my first longboard today. It’s a 44 inch retrospec. I’m pretty new to longboarding, but have a bit of a background on skateboarding. On my skateboard, I would just jump off or tail stop when I’m going to fast. On the longboard, there is a tail, but I can’t reach it because the board is 44 inches. My neighborhood is all down hill. I had no problem skating the hills on my skateboard because the wheels and the bearings are pretty bad, meaning I don’t go that fast. On the longboard, I go super fast and always end up having to judos off when there’s a car, or I’m going to fast. How exactly do o stop on a longboard when I’m going fast/ down a hill, besides falling or jumping off?

Is this a problem. When I long board I always keep my front foot, the left foot, straight, and I keep my back foot sideways. I never change either, even when I am turning. After I push am I supposed to turn my left foot sideways as well, and then turn it back when I push?
