That is really the best tool for mushroomed tips. I love it. Longoni Cues now need to offer replacement blades. Then it is really perfect

Used it a couple of times worked good but after the 3rd time it stopped working. Faulty equipment. Went back to the Joe Porper mushroom grazer.

do you need to burnish the tip or do anything else to it after trimming it or you can start playing straight away?

Always burnish your tip no matter what! Use some wax and a piece of soft leather, spin it gentle, so it doesn't heat up the tip too much when burnish it. Hope this helps.

The seyberts site says it is good only up to 12.8 mm is that incorrect? I would like to get one of these but I have a 12.9 revo shaft

We have tested up to 12.8mm. Somebody use it normally also for 12.9 and 13mm but it's risky.

@@pierluigilongoni1493 I have a 12.9 revo shaft and it only fit with some force after trimmed so when you buy 14 mm tips to trim down this isn't the tool for you. It's a shame too because i liked the button to apply pressure to the razor.

@@vickaminski Thanks for your report. The main goal of the tool is not for tip replacemnt ( unless you trim the new tip with a cutter almost to the final diameter ) but to maintain a tip to correct function thorugh removing mushroom effect. We will consider however all suggestions for future projects.

Unfortunately this does not work with 11mm tips. Had to install another tip after damaging it too much.

Yes, the product has been developed for this diameter range : 11.8/12,8 mm. As specified on the box cannot be used outside. Out of that range you can damage the tool and the shaft.

@@LongonicuesItaly I've been using it since months or 11,2 and 11 mm shafts, it works fine. Just need to be more careful because the blade can get too much angle. great product 👍👍

Hi Gary. Yes, it's suitable also for fiber shafts: check that the diameter stays in the range between 11.8 and 12.8 mm
