Here we have a redo of this game as the previous rendition got hacked and slashed by numerous copyright strikes we were forced to make a new version to avoid possible trouble. This version was initially recorded with BGM completely muted and then I reapplied only the songs that were safe, AKA what's on the OST. I even went the extra mile and put back most of the missing sound effects, the only thing I could not recreate were the voice clips that play when police appears as those for some reason count as BGM. It was extra work but I think it was worth it since Jet set radio with no music is just a janky game with bad controls and pretty graphics. I tried to enjoy this game many times but I end up getting frustrated over just how badly it controls. I even tested if it may had to do with me being rusty at the game so I replayed it again and it was still just as bad. If you're gonna subject yourself to first hand jank set radio experience do it on PC or PS3 or 360 cause the HD version controls an ass hair better than the original one thanks to the addition of disabling graffiti camera and option to disable camera snapping with graffiti button which makes missions against other gangs a breeze by comparison.

@@Dontannoyme34894 the game does use a lot of music from 3rd parties, it's the same thing with Tony hawk, just a different vibe. it's inconvenient for me but it's not really something that was of concern when the game was made, in fact it was one of it's best features. Also I'm kinda proud of myself for coming up with this solution. I'm just glad games now offer "streamer" mode or something similar that replaces copyrighted tracks to make their games upload friendly.

10:10 Is this captured using a burned copy (CD-R), or perhaps your Dreamcast's drive is on the way out? On original hardware, "Three gangs are fighting for the Tokyo streets" syncs closely to when the music changes. Not sure if that's a happy coincidence, or by design. (The Xbox Live remaster gets this wrong as well).

Quite possibly the best soundtrack to any video game IP ever. I recently traded away a Dreamcast lot for a Steam Deck. It went to a good home. Last week I got an Anbernic device that can emulate the game so I can still soak in some audio goodness.

You have to collect enough spray cans to spray all the main graffiti spots in the level. Collect spray -> tag graffiti in the designated spot and the cycle continues until all the graffiti spots tagged. Side note: Main graffiti spots had red arrow while optional spots had green arrow

Good spot :) yes, the game was re-done to exclude all licensed songs. The game uses both licensed and unlicensed music and we’ll get in trouble with the licensed stuff

Bet most of y'all didn't know you to make the characters do 180s,skate backwards ans alternate between backward and forward tricks. Also, the game's easier if you start withbigger graffiti and then you do the smaller ones once the police or the enemies start showing up.
