I love how the game acknowledges whether you're doing good or bad and even hints whenever there's a change of pace in the lyrics as well as cool mode in the cutscenes.

Here we have Parappa the Rapper 2, a lovely rhythm game famous for encouraging experimenting with inputs. It's similar to the original except it's much much easier and more forgiving and i feel the songs are even better. The story is utterly insane and it feels like the team behind it was on all of the drugs. Which is one of this game's best qualities, it's entertaining and it's fun to replay every now and again. The 2 player vs mode is so broken it's hilarious, i shown it off with me playing as player 2 with a broken controller and i still won. It's good fun especially when you're drunk or high(or both). PS: I wasn't actually the one playing it.

I remember watchign someone play this game in some Walmart or something, or me playing some sort of demo, that I was like "Is that city hall option a dream?? What is this game??? Have I seen this before???" All of a sudden, it's no longer a dream or something that was a figment of my imagination anymore, it is legit in the actual game....Wow, talk about a blast from the past that must have been completely forgotten until I heard that voice sample...And now I know where it comes from.

It's the PAL version of the game which was fully optimised to run correctly at 50 hz so that's why it's in 50 fps. It should look exactly the same as the US or JP version(seeing as it's a music game it has to be timed correctly), sadly because of nintendo-pocalypse it's really hard to find roms to compare.

I remember played parapa the rapper 2 when I was a kid, I couldn't even pass the second stage, and me as a kid just "oh well, on to the next game!". Playing this as an adult not making it easier either, i just loved the difficulty level of retro games, not like some games nowadays that just "aaw, is it too hard for you, let me lower the difficulty". Games back then "too hard? suck it buttercup"

Actually, Parappa 2 has an easy difficulty level, which is how i beat the game first time, by the time i played it through on easy i was good enough to play it again on normal. But this recording was done by someone else who's much better at rhythm games than i am.
