If you pay reaaaaaally close attention to Fulbright’s eyes after the 4:33:00 approximately you can see that his eyes no longer have a white dot, which usually is used to depict “evil” characters. Most of his phantom animations also do not have the white dot but it is interesting that for his “normal” animations they removed the white dot after his facade started to fall off

4:21:56 is his last text with the white dot, 4:22:18 is his first statement without the dot

@@thelordshrek2938 Indeed. I was wrong. Still, incredible detail that was barely noticeable in the original version, because of the lower resolution. It adds to the reveal even more.

I like this case, but damn the "they never checked the video tape for someone wearing Metis' jacket which clearly had a distinctive gash" bit is perhaps one of the worst parts about this. I get that they don't always write foolproof cases, but on the final case where a lot is at stake, where a man was put on death row for the murder of a woman and suspected sabotage of a rocket... that's surprisingly stupid.

if you play miles edgeworth investigation 2, you can clearly see how corrupt the chief prosecutor was to be

You are probably right, but the closest thing I can come up as an explanation is that the court wanted a quick conviction and considering that the evidence against blackquill was probably enough, and the pressure that the police had, they probably were not as thorough as they should have been

@@combokit4837 i would say that the court probably thought of him a random worker in the place i mean that jacket was common to be worn the only weird thing is the cut, the attorney could have just failed to prove that it belonged to Dr. cykes.

Given the fact a spy was involved, government bureaucrats probably wanted to scapegoat Simon Blackquill to save face since it would've been humiliating for them to admit such. Also, only reason they were even able to pull that off was because Phoenix Wright was out of the job at that point in time.

funny moment at 1:08:37 where the sign in the front of the space center is not localized in this cutscene and so is just inexplicably wrong in every language besides japanese

4:10:42 I just realized that if Apollo hadn’t worn the eyepatch in Starbuck’s case, this would’ve happened a lot sooner. Fulbright is the first witness on day 1 and he does the same stoic pose then, and also at 1:50:20 in this case. But Apollo either had on the eyepatch or wasn’t the defense attorney until now.
