Great to hear Lonnie Liston smith junior. His music is so relaxing. His farther would be so proud of him for carrying on the tradition of the Expansion. Phil Rudkin.❤😂

To You legends Tom Browne, Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith and other jazz I admire you all for keeping jazz alive, teaching the young generation getting educated, learning their craft being mindful had it not been for the jazz legends who paved the way for us generation we wouldn't be where we now. Some of the young ppl who are rap artists to stop and pause give respect, honor and acknowledge them. I will always I'm not gonna let those organizations, the ones who control the music industry i don't judge them but I handpick music that soothes the hearts, lifts my spirit and touch my soul as well. As a keyboardist u are my mentors and influences living or deceased. Thank you Roy Ayers, Gill Scott Heron, Norman Connors, Lonnie Liston Smith, Grover Washington jr. God bless you continually much love and respect to u always wherever you are I hope you receive this

Saw these guys with Jean Carne in the New York Jazz Explosion at Hammersmith Appollo in London 1985. Amazing. Just saw Roy play at Xoyo, London on my birthday (Dec 2017) Bless him, he's 77 and looked pretty frail, but he signed my 1985 T shirt!!! Amazing musicians. Long live jazz-funk!! (Remember how exhausted you'd be after dancing to this track? SO fast! 😂😂)
