Revivo is a cheaper alternative, tho. bit.ly/3MEsjBm As for Lono, I probably single handedly sold out the first production run with my first impressions review earlier, ha. @ALAKAZOOVOLANT10 ай бұрын
@@AndrewFolts you've probably seen me complain about their new pricing before but things aren't getting better even with Revivo where often the pricing is more than ordering in the usa and crossing the border to get new vivos. @@popuppete Before they did the switch to their Canadian distributor, they used to deal with a broker who would charge taxes and duties, which was a lot more expensive than the old way of buying from them. How convenient! Currently looking to buy another pair of barefoot shoes and really struggling with making a choice. This is one of the ones I’m considering. Regardless whether I win or not, thank you very much for this! :) #lonoflow
@AndrewFolts9 ай бұрын
Right on! What other shoes are you thinking about?
@_stealth_y9 ай бұрын
Like I said before, I unfortunately only walk on pavement. And even that, only once to twice per week. Other than that I’m on my bike to work or at work wearing my first barefoot shoes which are leguanos that are a little too small for me now. Buying another pair for work isn’t worth it though. So with that in mind, I’m mainly looking for shoes I like the look of and mainly ignore the purpose the manufactures say they are made for. I did actually buy the novus against your advice, but turns out I need TWO SIZES smaller than I bought and now it’s sold out. Right now I only have barebarics Zing and want an alternative. I‘m looking for something more modern and sporty-looking. Other than the novus I’m looking at Primus Trail knit, Primus lite/trail all weather, lono flow and newly the motus strength. Unfortunately right now I’m only very interested in vivos, simply because I’m too focused on looks for now. Gotta get that checked off and then get back down to earth and look at more brands lol And I’m also unsure about, with the motus as an example, how much the intended purpose of the shoe is an issue for me. I decided to risk it with the novus but now I can think about it… a tenth time haha

I wish there were more barefoot shoe stores in Germany. There’s only one in cologne (and apparently one in berlin) and they didn’t have any models I was considering when I went there. However I did get to try on a few primuses and the Primus Trail knit felt great on the foot, which is why I started considering it. Please forgive me for this incredible wall of text haha

Are these wider than vivo? And how about the flexabilty? They look really cool! #lonoflow
@AndrewFolts9 ай бұрын
They're very similar in width. The Vivo Primus Lite's are slightly thinner and more flexible, but the Flow's a quite close (just a tiny amount of padding).

If these last longer than 3 years, do they start to degrade on your feet!?

Nope, just in "landfill conditions." Requires continual heat and other materials breaking down to start the biodegrading process.
