Look east of Indianapolis Indiana for some space, but... even though the space is there it may be difficult to find a lot of it. A person's definition of "space" could be very different from another's. Many I've worked with don't necessarily want tons and tons of acres. Honestly, you have to get pretty far outside of Indianapolis to find that at a more reasonable cost. This is true for just about all of Indiana. But, having a little more space around your own house might be what you're looking for. A little more space might be half an acre or an acre. You can find that in Indianapolis but what if you want to live outside of the city? How can you be close to Indianapolis and get that space? Hancock County to the east of Indianapolis could be a place to put on your radar. Hancock County has several places that might work... McCordsville, Fortville, Greenfield, and New Palestine. However, even though Hancock County is the least populated county with less than 100,000 people around Indianapolis it can be surprising that it might be tough to find a place with "space". We'll get into some detail in this video.
