Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Traction control is what is stopping the white van. soon as the tires loose grip the system applies the brake to that one wheel to stop the spin and it reduces engine power. Turn off traction control and full send it.

I still find it surprising that there isn't a tow company with a truck stationed at the ramp helping trucks up the ramp at $100 a pop.

Is the traction control on in the sprinter? It's what it looks like. Turn it off.

I guess they don't understand the light side of the bouncing action. They all scored an E in physics, I guess. Weight concentration over the drive tires is key.

When my tires start slipping I just switch into four wheel drive and it comes right out.

rosssmith yes if you happen to have... 4WD. But, these vans are all just 2WD light weight behind the cab front... unloaded vehicles that don't have ANY traction controll! Because... they are 2WD! Traction control function is only on AWD or F2WD vehicles with the engine & passenger weight all up front!. Most (if not all) vans do not have 4WD, either! This first boat & trailer combo is just absolutely TOO BIG & TOO HEAVY be used for trailer boating with this kind of vehicle application! Not having any additional added weight, loaded inside the rear, before even attempting to trailer this ammount of weight out of a ramp! This person should have had the "smarts" to realize all this! 😮

Its hard to tell, but the distance between the front of the van and some of those other vehicles, passing by looked pretty close, which would have caused problems also if the van did get out of the hole on several attempts At 1 point there was some one sitting right in front of him so if he did come out quick, there may have no place for the van to go but into the vehicle in front of him. Which may have caused 1 or more of the half way stops. Also the slide backwards may have been caused by the driver using neutral instead of reverse, just letting the van roll backwards. Which isnt the best of ideas to begin with.

People are not smart. With the van trying to pull the boat out, quit stopping! Wheels have not even started to spin any stops every single time. Keep the moment I’m going. I don’t know why I expected any different from somebody that is pulling a boat with the Catering van. Although more than the van, the fact they have a Trophy shows their in experience with boating. The same as anybody with an In/Out, bowrider, Bayliner or Yamaha. All are red flags of inexperience
