that MT tractor has just to much shit on it that is not needed for most farmers. It is built for an employee to drive thus it is built for a large corp farm of over 1000 ac even though it is a little one. Face it kids we dont need AC or a GPS. All we need is a tractor that will work for a good 20 yr with no repair needed. Even that cab is a luxury that is not needed. All it does is increase the wind resistance. I have a little Kubota with nothing on it but gas brake and power steering as only luxury. Anyone who needs to sit in AC is not a real farmer but a city boy playing at it or a very rich man who drives when he wants to other wise an employee drives it as the guy is running a large corp not a little farm

Face it…..a cab tractor with comfort and options is a fantastic affordable addition to any farm. Stubbornness and ridicule is a major barrier to progression in the ag industry in my opinion. Open station machines are great….but having a cab is so much easier on your body and lungs
@fit4ya197511 ай бұрын
All of the farmers around me have Cab tractors as well as non cab tractors. They use whichever depending on the weather. Just because you cant afford one, theres no need to be ignorant and rude to others who can.

Open station really are better for most small farmers. Much better in the woods. If snow blowing or hours plowing/ mowing in the hot sun a cab is better. Cabs are required for high end tractors with electronics. Jm$.02 @StoneyRidgeFarmer

I bought open station for that very reason….and I’m not mowing 1000 hours in the woods…but I did mow out in the hot sun for 1000 hours. Once ya go cab you’ll love it

I see they just dropped a final assembly plant in Texas. they just got a huge renewal for their deal with New Holland as well knocking on $380 million I found while diving down the rabbithole. Now, if they can get all of their dealers to actually carry stock. I don't have a property for a tractor of any kind, considering it's covered in 20 degree slopes, but there is a dealer not two miles from my house, that is also a Bad Boy and Kioti dealer. They have Bad Boys and Kiotis in stock, but no LS. There's also a massive JD dealer about 5 miles away, a Mahindra about 7 miles away, a Massey about 27 miles away, and a New Holland about 34 miles away. I'd be set if I had any semblance of flat land, and not a steep 5 acre hill full of trees lol. It's rural Oklahoma, but there are some folks with serious moolah around here.

I have 3 tractors but if I'm going to be on one for several hours, I'll take my cab tractor any day of the week. It gets you out of the heat, out of the cold, out of the dust, out of the wind, out of the rain, out of the yellow jackets. A cab tractor will hold it's value much better as well which translates into better resale value. I just upgraded mine after 4 years and hundreds of hours of use and wear for $4000 less than I bought it for and I am also back under full 5 yr warranty again. All of that on 0% interest as well. Tell me how wrong that is. That's a heck of a deal in my book! 👍

Josh, I’ve been following your channel for a long time but I haven’t kept up with you much over the last few years just because I’ve been too busy to watch KZbin like I used to…what ever happened to your Willis keep you were working on? I really enjoyed that series but it seemed like it fell off. Maybe you finished it and I missed it but I would really like to know! I hope you see this and reply!

Very interesting stuff for sure. Would like to hear about TYM stepping away. Deals end just from contracts expiring and that normal. Was this a normal contract expiration or something else.

I dont think it has to do with his channel. Tractor manufacturers are losing money due to inflation costs for operating a farm. Machinery isn't being sold. Older machines are being repaired. @stevensaxon8888

Not sure if you are aware, but SOLECTRAC is out of business. Dealers are no longer allowed to sell the tractor.
@StoneyRidgeFarmer11 ай бұрын
Watched Tim's video lol....he just said he contacted some local dealers and they weren't selling them...they are 100% not out of business...but I've heard of some financial struggles within. Tim never said they were out of business and never said "allowed" to sell my friend....me and Tim are in the same boat on this....watch my vid coming soon! I think a different perspective can be valuable

TYM are nicer than LS in my opinion. Kioti makes a more refined tractor than TYM. I have both TYM and Kioti. TYM can’t get there act together or their tractors to dealers. The 115 and 130 were supposed to be out last year. Still aren’t out.

I had a 2022 MT240 worst piece of junk I ever bought. It broke down 7 times in 2 years. Then, the customer service, well, let's say it was horrible, and took forever to get parts and fixed. A pin for the thumb has taken over 3 months and is still not here. Traded the LS for a quality tractor.
