@@al3220 I didn't miss that part at all. It was a poor question from that "judge". If he brought his car in to get fixed and they fixed part of his car, but they needed another part so he picked up his car until they got the part -- and then he was asked by this "judge" "did you get your car fixed" -- do you think she would let him explain all that? She would have cut him off immediately. Truthfully, he did get his car "fixed" but not all the fixing has been completed yet. And then the "judge" asked him "did it cost you $1311" -- he answered that that is the cost but he has not paid it yet because the work has not been completed. A completely honest answer.

If the shoe was on the other foot and you sued a body shop for not finishing a job you paid for and their response was "we fixed it" , would you really say they fixed your car? Yesterday a plaintiff walked in a went to the defendant's side as well in one case.

Both are on the spectrum. For sure. I can’t imagine the production of the show doesn’t tell them in advance where they should be walking to so it’s either you don’t care you don’t remember or you’re just slow.

Can we move on from pretending Doug is interviewing the litigants in person after the case?

He does interview them in person usually. You haven't seen episodes where he actually shakes their hand or puts his hand on their shoulder? This was covid time after things were starting to open up but with restrictions. That is why only the judge, Douglas, the litigants, and any actual witnesses were allowed in the courtroom. That is why you also don't see any audience in these episodes. During these times, Doug was interviewing them remotely.

The plaintiff perjured in court...thats why he lost...😂
