I agree with the judge’s ruling. Even though the quality didn’t meet the plaintiff’s expectations, her 100 guests still had food to eat. The defendant needed to pay a penalty for being late and serving undercooked and underseasoned food, but $500 would have been too much. $250 refund is way too low, the plaintiff was only asking for $500 she deserved at least that back. Bad ruling.

Right!? Just missing the wine and champagne should've earned her $500 back. He messes up in the chicken. One of the main dishes. I get the recall wasn't his fault, but it certainly wasn't HER fault either. She should get what she asked and paid for. Period. He forgot the broccoli. The sweet potatoes were dry and weren't what was requested. I think $500 is fair!

@@bethcarico7549If it wasn’t for the missing broccoli, the plaintiff wouldn’t have gotten anything back. The food wasn’t good but her guests still ate it. The champagne and wine were late but the guests still drank it.

He needs to price himself better. Salmon and chicken for 100 people plus the hors d'oeuvres etc was way more than $1500
