Gorgeous work, John. Love the zen, abstract modernism of this piece. Love the wetness of your painting. I play with watercolor in similar ways. Doing a series of abstract geometric works currently, more structured than this, but also as small freeform compositions as well. Looking forward to following more of your work. Cheers!

This palette, I use four Winsor Newton Professional pigments: Burnt Umber, Prussian Blue, Raw Sienna and Olive Green.

Hi Duncan. Sorry for such a delayed response to your question. And, thank you for your interest in my watercolour videos. This palette, I use four Winsor Newton Professional pigments: Burnt Umber, Prussian Blue, Raw Sienna and Olive Green. These colours give the earth tones and blend well.
