It's funny that bulkier guys are always trying to slim down, and slimmer guys are always trying to gain weight. From what I can tell, as long as you're not too skinny, you're good on the slim side, and if you're bulkier, just try not to have a belly, man boobs, or excess fat. Most importantly, your body should look like you're NOT a meat head. Women like when you look like you're not trying hard to look good. 14:03

Keep in mind that a man reaches peak bone and muscle density from ages 25-35, which is why most men in this range can fall into the trap of trying to reach their old weight. Its not just a metabolism thing.

My PT has kind of highlighted to me the concept of caloric deficit... calories in / calories out... you gotta burn it off...sure your bone growth can taper off, but you can maintain that density into your 50's easy. It becomes more difficult to keep the build and muscle mass of a man in his peak late 20's... but not impossible, you do have to really give up on the idea of eating (or drinking) for pleasure entirely... its just fuel, and you want the best fuel, I do 3 hours training a day. I wake at 5.30am, caffienate, then I do a group fitness class at 6am for 1 hour, then do weights training for 60-70 minutes, with a lean breakfast, low sugar greek yoghurt + some fruit... start work, then its large protein intake with things like brown rice, beans, etc for lunch, snacking on popcorn or unsalted nuts like walnuts. Take the most effective supplements throughout the day (Fish oil, zinc, vit b, c and d....) After work in the evening I try to do team sport or a hike... before eating something decent like Salmon/tuna steak + broccoli + brown rice... this habit means I sleep like a baby and my mind feels calm and healthy... its the most optimal way to exist... just one additional advantage over other men and I enjoy the benefits in many ways not least with the regular pleasure of being well recieved by beautiful women. I'm 38... I've never been as strong, attractive to women, or as full of energy... as I do today... 28 year old me could have only dreamed of the attention I get from beautiful women in their 20's... I started way too late, but at least I started and got to where any man that wants a full life wants to be.

I worked in NYC for years and saw the women going for the really skinny guys. The muscle men were either too intimidating or the women felt they couldn't control them. That's just a guess as to why but for sure skinny was a big deal. I developed a theory that part of attraction is seeing something you want in the other person. Women stupidly always think they are too fat so they see skinny guys as having something they want.

Been on 600 calories per dag for five days now. Basically six boiled eggs and some cheese. It's painful at first but the way your body goes through autophagy is interesting

False. Red meat and fat contain the highest amount of calories. Limiting these foods are definitely the superior way. Carbs are never the fundamental thing that needs to be removed. Is keto bad? No. Is it necessary to lose fat? Absolutely not. I think Casey knows what he is doing.

My personal experience is that carbs help me gain strength and mass, but I get the most ripped when I eliminate the carbs and have a diet composed largely of protein and fats... I mean like stupidly ripped haha.

Almost everyone on those carnivore high fat diets are fat. I'm in several groups and the only ones who are lean and chiseled are the ones who admit to eating oats and rice with their meat...and living in the gym

Don't restrict your calories, Bro. Restrict carbs only. Eat no bread, no pasta, no any kind of meal with "dextrose" ingredient or conservatives. Try to avoid even carrots or pumpkins. Don't restrict fats at all. Eat once a day but whatever amount you want.

Casey you are legitimately like 11-13% body fat. Dropping 20lbs of fat would put you almost at a stage lean physique. You would have to lose muscle mass as well which can be very hard to do. If it truly is your aim to kind of mesh down into a former physique, then I'd say do it. But you will definitely have the lean composition you're seeking around 10 lbs lost, potentially even less.

Minoxidil definitely works. But it doesn't do miracles. If you don't have hair, it won't create them. It does, however, increase density by somewhat around 15-20%. Hair that were thin and barely visible become thick and strong and less prone to falling out. So it basically slows down balding process. You have to keep using it otherwise you'll lose all your hair gains, just as with lifting.

If you look at some of the scientific-based videos from Dr Anthony Chaffee, you'll see that fat with meat is very important. Chaffee's belief is to eliminate all carbs. His bloodwork is off the charts.

Minoxidil has an effect, only if the hair follicles are still alive. A transplant is instant hair with Long-DHI, where you don't need to shave off anything.

Real weight loss happens slowwwwwww. To lose 20 pounds, u need a deficit of 3500*20 in calories. But sometimes fasting or having too low of calories will put the body into calorie preservation mode which can monkey w/ metabolism. Your self talk is honest, but it reflects a perception of being less attractive than u factually r. Consider -going to get a Dexa scan. It would make good content, and it might pinpoint areas you want to target. -just a little less upper body at the gym. Maybe do back,abs,lower, booty only for a while or lighter weight for arms/pecs ( *I am not a trainer) To my eye, if u lost 3-5 pounds muscle off each shoulder/arm you get to 185-181 and wud still be strong. And maybe u could just eat what u wanted a bit more protein wise. Again I am not a trainer and know nothing. Just what I see.
