I used to make these with nylon yarn that they used for plastic canvas! They worked just as well as the tulle, but weren’t quite as poofy. These are fun to make and they’re good little hostess gifts! Thanks so much for the detailed tutorial.

The looms comes with the hook, but I added a pencil grip to the hook. I got those from Walmart. 😊

The softer tulle would be for the skin and the rougher one would be for dishes.

Hey Linda! Are you talking about cutting the tulle in half so that it's 3 inches wide instead of 6? No I didn't. I had never heard of that until recently. I'd be interest to know how that would work. 😊

I think the other difference in the tulle other than where they are manufactured is that one is matte and the other is sparkle or has a shine to it. So you’d want to use the matte tulle on these instead of sparkle tulle.

A tip for you.....say you e-wrap pegs 1-10. Work peg 10 first, so it holds it for you.

Why would you buy anything from China or Mexico when you can find that stuff at a craft store like Jo-Ann fabrics or as you call it hobby lobby or one of the other ones that Michaels you can probably find that stuff at Michael's much cheaper than you would if you were to buy it from a company

Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and JoAnn order in bulk from suppliers .. the suppliers get it from China or Mexico. So you may find both in the same store at times or it might be divided by colors .. I don't know.
