Awesome! I have not done an e-wrap cast on; I keep doing the U-wrap cast on you taught on the burgundy hat with the faux fur pom... and it wasn't going well trying to tighten it so I left it. It is livable and looks OK as long as I make the cast on just tight enough I can barely knit the loops off the pegs (but again that's the U-Wrap cast on). But my eyes are peeled, here, big time! Thanks for the wonderful resources.

Hey Denise - great tip! I've struggled with tightening loose loops. My current method is to tighten the loose loops while the work is still on the loom, after I've knitted a few rounds, but to do it in the way that you've demonstrated before. Keeping the work on the loom helps me to keep track of where the stitches are better than if I try to tighten once the work has been taken off the loom. Hope that makes sense! Thanks again for your wonderful videos :-)

I have watched this video more time than I can count and tried to do it myself over and over. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it doesn't work for me. Everything goes good and looks like your video until I get to the point where I'm supposed to be able to pull all the extra yarn by releasing the anchor peg. I release it but no matter how hard I pull or even which thread I pull it doesn't budge and I'm just left with a big loop of extra yarn that I can't do anything with. Do you have any suggestions about what I could be doing wrong? The only thing I do different is I knit counterclockwise instead of clockwise. Could this be the issue? I'm new to loom knitting and you and your videos have been priceless to me! This one will be too once I figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I figured it out. It did have to do with the direction of knitting. I watched the pin Cushion video where you also demonstrate the technique and realized that you end on the first peg instead of starting with it and when I did that it worked. It's a great technique now that I know how to do it correctly!

Hi Phoenix do you mean if you have loose loops ? I’m going to assume your cast on was the figure 8 which won’t let you tighten the cast on so … all I can recommend is to crochet the border. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIncq2Wdm8marNk
