Girl, the items you make with your looms are absolutely beautiful and inspiring. Though I tend to do more machine knitting, I have been inspired by some of your videos to make several items with my looms. Actually it was your channel that inspired me to purchase a set of looms several years ago. You have a wealth of creativity. Thank you for sharing it with so many others!!!!

Can you post a video on making socks with an adjustable sock loom? I'm having trouble figuring out how many pegs to use for the size of foot I'm making it for, what kind of stitches I should be doing, and everything else in between. I'm a very new beginner and your videos are always so helpful and I never have a problem understanding them!
@j.laniwinkler99036 жыл бұрын
Giggles, Denise really doesn't like to do many socks, she has some. If I could suggest Scarlette Royal's channel ( kzbin.info/door/fVgl7WuEMyv2feEwxQEVQw ) she is the ultimate best sock loom knitter on youtube. Look at the "easiest sock" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmWqmp5vorSBnbM ) and Scarlette takes you from beginning to end. Good luck!

Hello, Love your videos.. I am new to loom knitting and have learned a lot from you ! 😊 One question which toboggan (hat) pattern video do you suggest to make to match this awesome mans cowl ? Thanks

Sorry so many question love this cowl. Can I make it to go up towards the mouth like a mask usuage I also want to have the inside a different color to match a reversible hat I made. How would I do this. Love your videos and you are Sweet let me know before Friday if you can ease
@LoomaHat3 жыл бұрын
Hi Catherine - everything you're asking about can be done but to explain it to you would be like creating another pattern. That takes time and testing and I would not be able to do that in a comment section. I hope that makes sense.

Hello! I love your channel! Can I ask how long (approximately)are 80 rows of this super bulky yarn in centimeters? I'm doing this but forgot to count the rows Thank you very much
@singingsunflower90004 жыл бұрын
98 yards is about 90 meters. The easiest way to convert any kind of measurement is to simply google, for an example, "98 yard in meter" and you get the result at the top, no need to visit any special websites, just google! It works for currency as well which I personally find very useful too.

Can I use two or three strands to make a bulky weight?
@LoomaHat6 жыл бұрын
Yes - Somewhat, use 3 strands
@j.laniwinkler99036 жыл бұрын
@@LoomaHat Yep, I was just going to suggest that, I'm using two #4 worsted weight (Caron Simply Soft which is slightly less than typical #4) and I have "open space" when I've used three strands (on a hat pattern) it worked much better, but I've done quite a bit on this project and I just don't want to restart, this gift is going to California and the Winters (that may be an oxymoron) are not as cold so I don't think he will mind. LOL

NOoooo Jon - don't. I won't glue them - I just forgot to add tape to the loose pegs. It's a loom I got on eBay for like $3 which is why I LOVE my knifty knitters .

Following the pattern, I have big holes in every other peg , Peg 3,5,7, every odd peg.. Doesn't even look like your stiches 😢 pattern. Using super bulky yarn, Bernat Softee Chunkey.

What is it called if you loom a circle and bind off so that you can pull it over your head and also it can come up for mask. Denise How do I do this for a guy instead of sewing it together. I don't know what this is called. It's a cowl hat but not the right name

@czayce4 жыл бұрын
Could you do this in a full circle instead of working back and forth?
@j.laniwinkler99036 жыл бұрын
Ok Ok, I must be the only one struggling, so to clarify, we move the stitches to the next peg beginning opposite of the side with the working yarn? Because if I don't, if I start trying to move stitches beginning on the side with the working yarn, it's like I'm just unwrapping the e-wrap stitches, not just removing the twist. Is my gray-headed brain just not catching on or am I doing something wrong? And And And, is it just me or is untwisting the yarn easier in one direction? Sometimes I feel like I'm a contortionist twisting my wrist from one side to the other. I'm using dark blue yarn (as requested, not by choice) and it is hard to see the twist. Sorry, Denise, I love how it looks but man o mercy I"m struggling.
