Loopwheel T-shirts, analysis and comparison with tubular knit and flat knit T-shirts

After my experience with loop wheel tees, I wonder whether they are overrated and if flat knit tees could be better than loop wheel knitted. Let´s check together.

Hi, I take care of how I wash them, usually a gentle cycle in the washing machine, cold water (20 degrees) and good quality detergent, low spin not to alter the shape 👍👍

I often have iron heart loopwheeled shirts in my shopping cart but have never pulled the trigger due to sizing. my ih western shirts are xxxl and the biggest loopwheel is 24ish inches across the chest.

If you wear XXXl in shirts, the 24 inches can be snug for you; unless you are happy with that fit, I don't think it is going to work for you

Hello Diego, I’ve been trying to find loopwheel t-shirts for myself, but they all seem to be too short. My measurements are as follows: - Height: 188 cm (6.16 feet) - Weight: 240 lbs (108 kg) - Shoulders: 22 inches (55.88 cm) - Chest: 24.5 inches (62.23 cm) - Length: 31 inches (78.74 cm) Also, could you let me know where I can find t-shirts in my size? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Hi!! With your measurements, finding a loop wheel t-shirt is going to be difficult or impossible because you are between the body type that needs long sizes like used to be you need 46/48 L, used to be R and L but not anymore the only producers (Japan and Germany) don't produce your measurements. The only option is tubular knitting. There are American brands that produce bigger sizes. Sorry Mate!!

I just checked the Real McCoy’s 2-Pack T-shirt the XXL has 31 inches of vertical length but are tubular knit

Bronson is another affordable option (tubular knit), but for me, the best quality/price tag is UNIQLO Supima cotton or UNIQLO U. Both hold really well

This brand produces the t-shirts in Wakayama, in one of the well known factories that offer loopwheel fabrics and provider of many. Japanese brands can go wrong with Tezomeya. It uses the same cotton and the same knitting techniques. Ergo, it is a good pick if the price tag fits the bill and you like the style 👍

@@UrbanLadUK that’s good to know. Do you personally own one? I’ve heard that the t shirt collar wrinkles after a few wash. So that made me wonder if the t shirt length would stretch out at the waist area after a few washes.
