Super cool video! I have three iPad Pro 12.9 inch and I wonder can I use them all together to make things easier to do? I create my own patches for sound effects. Thank you so much!
@frankslade338 ай бұрын
Thank you. I write software myself and in trying to write some simple songs with multiple instruments, i found it so cumbersome and if you asked me I'd have asked for exactly this. Create a series of building blocks independently, and put them together in a separate context with a timeline like a movie maker. Voila. The DAWs usually combine both tasks into one, which is wrong for my purposes (though not for many others of course).

Hi! Help needed here if you can please.. I'd like to trigger single tracks (one at a time, no layering) for live use with a band (key tracks) from an iPad or iPhone preferrably using a bluetooth keyboard or drum pad (or mp-style pad) and it would be great if I could tap the tempo in any way to make sure they fit the songs as intended AND ALSO it would be great if changing tempo didn't change the pitch of the samples (samples are going to basically be Rhodes/hammonds chords).. any idea about the proper app? I don't need any editing capabilities.. thanks guys!

Lock manual focus on iPad🤙🏼 What cable used to connect Zoom to iPad?
@flundlip2 ай бұрын
I used this cable: amzn.to/4g1lsiK I always keep it with the H6, because it connects it so easily to all my devices

Thank you very much for this really helpful video. I'm at the very beginning of playing around with my Akai MPK Mini play and don't have a great knowledge of how to use it with any DAW. And here you showed in a slow and simply way how to use this app. May I ask why you don't use Garageband which is free on the iPad and has a looper as well?

How do you export/ share a template?

Thanks a lot for the great video! I like your chilled music style, how you performed the examples 👍 How is it possible, that you didn’t pick up the sound of a metronome? Or your breathing? 😊 Best regards?
@flundlip11 ай бұрын
Thank you! So by using the Zoom H6 as a microphone and audio interface I can have the metronome only be audible through the headphones, so that the microphone doesn't pick up on it. I recommend not using the device's microphone, because since it's designed to pick up everything, it will also pick up a lot of noise.
@PowNyTales11 ай бұрын
@@flundlip thank you 🙏 I thought to get a bluetooth mike consisting of 3 parts. 2 x sender and 1 x receiver. Such a sender I would clip on the body of an acoustic guitar and stick a receiver part to the IPad with loopy pro. Hopefully it will work. (May be it could be a new topic for your next video with some hardware affiliate links :). Sure if it suites in your project pipeline. Very nice channel with a valuable Information about loopy pro! I am glad I found it 🍀

Very interesting! I'm guessing that extra outboard instruments are connected via midi and can be controlled via foot controller for turning parts of loop on/off during live performance?
@ericsandro9 ай бұрын
Great! Thanks!

So, you explain all the obvious stuff that I could see from a glance anyway…but how the heck did you set it up to have a one bar metronome start cue? I can’t seem to get that anywhere.

This vídeo is simple but great ! Exactly what i need to know about this ! Thank you so much ! I have a big question , how works importing stems to the daw? Is possible?
@Keyaar197811 ай бұрын
This was where i was confused in midi theme. Only one question left. Can you add a midi sequencer app to drive a synth app on same channel? If would be possible i suppose you need to record into audio in loopy pro to use it on timeline.
@Killervaughn74 Жыл бұрын
So at the end of the video when you were drawing the arrangement in, is there actually a way to preempt the insert, so it automates befire you've even played a note. I am trying to do the Elise trowe everlong thing on anythiog in the world but ableton. Automating in Ableton is not fun, the dots before the lines, the boxes, just yuk, but can i automaqte in loopy pro. To this date its been the best looper ive ever used, but no one seems to be able to give me a realm answer. Cheers for the vid.

@flundlipАй бұрын
Yes, you can connect the Akai MIDI directly to your iPad! Just make sure you have the right cable.

I can see Loopy recognizes the Akai so the cable is right. But when I play the Akai no sound comes out of the iPad.

*can you change the tempo/speed of the sound you loop on that app?*
@jaysee27Ай бұрын
Yes you can. As a matter of fact, you can’t start a loop recording in the app until you establish the tempo and number of bars for the loop. You will receive a screen prompt to remind you to establish the tempo first before you try to record.

If I understand the question properly, you can set the loop you want to stop to be at the same channel (or color) as the loop your going to next

I am glat that I gave this a second chance. I nearly gave up at the beginning because of the tight editing of your dialogue but at least most of your video avoided that awful style and you mostly sounded like a real person. info was good. Thanks for taking the time to share it. Please don't fall for that stupid trend of starting next sentences as soon as the previous one ends. It's even more annoying than the relentless adverts on youtube lately.
