very good stretch, my hips are and been so stiff since my childhood, sometimes i wonder if it has something to do with my bone structure or it's just tissues and muscles stiffness, anyway i'll add this to my stretching routine

My physiotherapist told me to do frog stretches when I asked how to stretch my groin for karate stances, but we were running out of time for me to try. So pleased to find this video in great detail. Thank you!

I have found that I can get a deeper stretch by doing this on a soft surface like a bed. You can sink into it without putting unnecessary pressure on your knees.

Hi doc, I feel a pain in my hips when I do this, I don’t feel in the inner thigh stretch, am I doing it wrong or is my bone structure preventing me from being as flexible?
@SeaLarkChiropractic
@SeaLarkChiropractic 3 жыл бұрын
This might be too intense of a stretch for you. You could work on your hip flexibility with other stretches and mobility exercise and then try again once your flexibility has improved. If you have very good hip flexibility then it could be the bone structure of your hips.

Try contracting while you do it...i.e. pushing inwards, resisting in the opposite direction of the stretch

You could modify it and it could be beneficial for maintaining or improving range of motion. Try to bring the knees closer together or only go as wide as is comfortable and just go through your pain free range of motion and give it a try.

Buuuut, what if there's an injured knee? I fell and i feel like my hip is kinda 'stuck', my knee received the FULL impact, so it's sensitive and my ankle has suffered so many spraings that if it could, would've abandoned me. I got no family or the cash for medical, but when i got a mercy of help, i was told that i have NO fracture. Help??? I really want to be back as i was last year.

Is it normal that when I spread my knees I can’t turn my feet out and put them flat like that? I really feel like it’s my bone structure that’s preventing me from doing this.

Any tips on knee pain while doing this? I typically don't feel knee pain doing other stuff (no prior injuries) but as I try to get deeper, my knees just get angry as heck at me. I'm going to try doing this wearing knee pads and using a floor mat next time.

How can I overcome this? I can't do the frog pose/stretch. I can do everything, even the pancake, but it scares a hell out off me. I can do the front splits. Now a I want my middle splits. I know the frog pose is and must-do, but I can't, I've tried this for 4 months. First I tried everyday, but I was getting too much soreness. I changed to two times/three a week, holding and bouncing 4 minutes, and yet I've got no progress. I feel pain during the training, and for one or two days after. I want to zero my frog pose. How can I overcome this?

The true gospel is the good news of the Person & work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, it is concerning who Christ is and what He did to save His elect only. The gospel includes the how and why, which can only be seen by faith. It is a message that declares how the eternal Son of God came down, took on a body of sinless flesh (John 1:14) as He was born of a virgin (Mat 1:23). He was both God & man in one Person. He was born under the Law to keep and fulfill it (Mat 5:18, Gal 4:4). He did that, not for Himself, but for all those He represented because they could not keep it themselves. The word of God calls these people the elect or His sheep, among several other names. His obedient life also included the part of dying. He took on the sin of His people as both a Substitute and Representative of those people. The Bible said He was "made to be sin" (II Cor 5:21) and the way that was done is by God imputing (legally reckoned or charged to the account of) sin to Christ. That means all the sin of all those people God chose was "laid on Him" (Isaiah 53:6). This sin was legally transferred to His account and He then owned it in such a way to be guilty of it all. God the Father poured out His wrath and hatred toward sin on His Son and had pleasure (Isaiah 53:10) in doing so, in that, He was completely satisfied in Christ as a Sacrifice that met all the demands of His strict Law and inflexible justice. Christ finished the work of paying the penalty of the Law and then said " It is finished" (John 19:30). He secured salvation for all God’s chosen people that would even be born. His resurrection is evidence of the acceptance of His sacrifice to the Father. The combined work of His obedience to the Law &His obedience unto death on the cross was considered establishing righteousness. This is what one of the Old Testament prophets prophesied as "bringing in an everlasting righteousness" (Daniel 9:24) as Christ died effectually and exclusively for those chosen of God before the world began (Eph 1:4). This righteousness is what God imputes to His people in the context of giving the life to believe in Christ. This puts them in a state called justification.
