We’re joined by Esther Ghey, mother of Brianna Ghey, who was tragically murdered in a local park in a premeditated attack carried out by two fellow school students on 11th February 2023. Today, Esther joins us to tell us why she’s campaigning to get teachers across Warrington trained in mindfulness and share why she is calling on tech companies and social media giants to take responsibility online for the content teenagers are accessing. Esther also reveals what it was like to sit down with the mother of her daughter’s killer, and why she doesn’t blame her for Brianna’s death.

So this is absolutely ZERO disrespect or belittling or anything at all negative to other parents of murdered kids but for me, this lady is on the same pedestal that i have mentally put James Bulgers mum on. I cannot believe how strong they both are for being able to fight for changes in order to save future kids and families from potentially going this their tragic realities. I have so much empathy for all families of murdered loved ones. I cannot and don't want to imagine their pain. Massive love and respect.
