I just love that razor. Regardless of the price, it goes into a "If I would use one razor forever" category. Always gives me an effortless BBS shave. Never any irritation or any sort of problems. I used many high end razors, but was truly delighted when I tried that Lord L6 for the first time.

Bore da Paul. Lovely close shave again. SOTD will be my old parker srx shavette with an Asco blade. Yaqi brush and mitchells wool fat soap. Followed by Humphreys citrus witchazel and Florida water cologne. Nivea balm. Hope the rest of the week goes well for you. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

I love the L6, it is practically impossible to cut yourself with that razor,. I believe the head is a copy of the Merkur 33C head. in fact, I get the best results with top-heavy razors. The thing that I find surprising is that I have never heard of a Lord razor with poor blade exposure/alignment.

Great shave Paul... I'm a huge fan of Droid Black. Please let Mrs H know her arrangement is beautiful. The weather here has gone straight into fall here in Canada. I've been trying face lather for a few shaves recently and I've come to the conclusion I prefer bowl lathering. Take care.

Great shave as always. I once found a hob knob biscuit I’d planned on eating on a winters walk in my winter coat the following year! Forgot it was there. It’d lost its crunch😂😂 As to the shave, it just goes to show you needn’t spend hundreds of pounds to get a good shave.

Another enjoyable Wednesday shave! Droid Black is one of my favorite "posh" scents! My SOTD used tried and true Tabac with my Twig SE safety razor. Post-shave was the usual alum and witch hazel followed up with Nivea Sensitive balm and Aqua Velva Musk aftershave. I must say that the Twig can't compete with my Rockwell 6S. Finding £20 means new shaving stuff, baby! Now on to the Hot&Spicy and Sunday shave!

In Aus we are one month into Spring, which officially starts of the 1st of September and ends on 30th November, although the weather is still quite cool and wet. Awesome floral display from MrsH 👏💖, I'm very fond of Cyclamen's they represent happy childhood and adult memories for me! Big Ben (made by Lord) are good blades for me, very similar to Silver Star which are also great. Actually before my Father passed I did have the opportunity to show him the beginnings of my new DE shaving hobby (at the time) he was absolutely fascinated and I found out later that he changed back to wet shaving (from electric) for the last part of his life! The Lord L6 is a bit of an aggressive razor for me... It is cost effective which is true and can be found on Amazon..

Big Ben blades, if I'm not mistaken, are a brand of Lord company. I enjoy them, quite inexpensive and they work. Missed the music intro, but maybe you had a technical difficulty... I've used a couple PAA samples Doppelgänger and Atomic Age Bay Rum, which I found outstanding. The full-size tubs are too expensive for me to spend in just one soap though...

Love your vids. I can tell when a razor works due to your hair colour. That’s a plus. Funny. I have the same beard-hair-type and colour as you and yeah, this Lord razor L5? works very well with full 3 passes for the price as long as the blade is mid-aggression and above. I’ve put Personna Reds and Feathers in it and the shave result is more than passable. Thanks for your vids.

Very nice shave. Them PAA soaps really perform well. Its beautiful fall weather here in the middle part of the US as well. My sotd was using my king c gillette with tobs almond. And finished with aqua velva. You and mrs h have a great week

Nice shave Paul🪒🪒 Unique arrangement this morning, beautiful as always, thanks Mrs H. Actually some inexpensive razors can give the best shaves if given the chance... PAA is a mainstay in my den, their products are top shelf and scents are awesome. I have a few bottles of Floid Black and it is a beautiful scent as all Floid scents are, can only imagine how good Doug matched it. Great video and results today, smooth and no issues. Enjoy!

I picked up some Loïd Black about three weeks ago. It is a GREAT scent. On me it doesn't seem to last all that long. Maybe 2-3 hrs. But it is a wonderful scent. Seriously thinking about picking up the Droid Black. Doug (PAA) says it his isn't as close to the skin as the Floïd. But everyone's body chemistry is different.

this is the new version of the cheap razor, I have also the old version , much softer , the new one for me is agressive , lord blades are also very good , regards from mexico i believe the old version of lord and the rockwell 6 with base plate in nr 2 , for me both are the best razors I have ( have around 25 very nice razors , but I need non agressive razors ),

This Cube is the best pre shave I have used so far Paul. I also use it sometimes just to wash my face. I have the Menthol one and it brings tears in my eyes everytime. It's very powerful. PS Maybe a touch of water before the first pass Paul??? 🤣😂
