So interesting. I wonder What the apostles and first fathers know about Gog being listed in the early lineage ? One of the gospels lists the lineage of Christ all the way back to Adam. Would the early church fathers have known about Gog in the Israeli lineage. It seems that people living 2000 years ago could have thought Magog would be from the Gentiles and Gog might be some off shoot of Israel. Has there ever been a judeo-gentile type of alliance or group of people? Would that have made sense 2000 years ago?

yes, between Canaanites (Galilee area where Jesus spent most of his life) and Jewish who were very close to each other. Karim el Koussa has a great book on this topic...
