I want a Silmarillion series, not another rehash of the story that was already covered in the movies (even if those movies did depart way more from the books than I wanted.)

Ikr! It's still okay if we get to see Nùmenor or Arnor

Obviously I did not just mean the Quenta Silmarillion proper. The Akallabêth would definitely be part of it. The Ainulindalë and Valaquenta might be a bit hard to adapt, but the next two books of the Silmarillion could make several good miniseries.
@Vendell_236 жыл бұрын
They can't because Christopher Tolkien owns the rights to Silmarillion and doesn't wanna sell it to hollyweird since they butchered the hobbit and LOTR lore.
@josephfernandez80156 жыл бұрын
Nobody asked for another LotR adaptation. Spending a billion dollars on it is insane.

I never really got into the books but if I remember right from The Hunger Games films fashion was pretty important just restricted to people in The Capital Of Panam, which is of course evolved from the most tastefully refined of cities Denver, Colorado

It is more efficient to have just uniforms, resources wise, thats why its common in sci-fi futuristic population not to have a fashion industry

I'm re-reading the books again. Dont know if they could every do a series, its so much story to cover and would need a massive budget
@Xaphnir6 жыл бұрын
As much as I'd love it, they'll never be able to do it justice. It'll either be in movie format, in which case it will be far too short, or it will be on TV, in which case the budget will be far too low.
@MetalMeek6 жыл бұрын
Amazon is already working on it in early development. My concern at this point is over-saturation. Too many big fantasy shows lined up now.
@elfboi5236 жыл бұрын
@@Xaphnir Maybe they should make an animated series. Or get some animation studio from Japan to do it.

The Mechwarrior universe is ripe for a Game of Thrones style epic.

How do you just yada yada yada over Invincible, Gunslinger, Ringworld, snow crash getting big budget shows? This is the epitome of what nerds need to be alerted to.

Low key, Amazon has some really good TV... Sneaky Pete, Mrs. Maisel, Goliath, that's just a small amount, let alone the fact that its the ONLY place I can rewatch The Getbackers

Some of these sound promising, Snowcrash, Ringworld, great, I wish somebody would adapt the Foundation series or Malazan Book of the Fallen, I think those could be perfect for a TV series

I have my box set of J. R. R. Tolkien from the early ‘80’s and I think it was less than $10.00 vs. that other number with a B. Although, I'd probably watch it if becomes available to me, certainly if it's for less than a billion dollars I mean what a bargain. Another B word.

I love women who love making sandwiches... oh but I don't want to eat them. I like to see them making them. to see them spread the white-yellowish mayonnaise over the bread, slowly. to see their fingertips getting in between the slices of dry cheese and moist ham. to see them give a sensual bath to the lettuce in warm water, with lots of inappropriate fondling, like the kind that many fantasize about doing in the churches' kitchens. but most of all, i love to see women grab big, juicy tomatos, and to see as they hold the poor fruits against the cutting board. ohhh the extacy I feel when the big sharp knife slices, piece after piece of the tomatos, probably non of you will ever experience such pleasure... how it feels to when I see its juices flow like blood, soaking the womans delicate fingers...
