@@JonathanBergman125 That's a dumbass take because based on all footage Helm Hammerhand is clearly a dual or tri protagonist of the story alongside his daughter and Wulf. Helm dies and there's a bridge in time where something happens before Fréaláf rides to victory. I don't see the issue of filling in that gap with his daughter who clearly had importance outside the appendix version of the history being the object of marriage for Wulf and the cause of Freca's death. It fits with Tolkien's concepts of rehabilitation of the northern spirit (faith, cunning, and courage of the meek in the face of insurmountable odds over the might of stongmen). It additionality fits with Tolkien inspirations being actual legends and myths of Northwest Europe (there are a whole lot of female warriors and related characters in both Germanic and Celtic mythologies). In short shut up and go touch grass you basement dweller.

@@Saurondür the movie focuses on the only surviving family member of helm hammerhands line as the “main character” but she is not the center of attention as helm Hammerhand is the one to gain the eyes of the room with every scene he’s in much like Aragorn in the live action movies.
