As a Black woman, I just want to say how refreshing it is to see a brother being real and vulnerable, sharing your emotions like that. It’s not something we always get to witness, and it means a lot. Exactly, i grew up mostly raised by my mom and surrounded by sisters in the south. Living in the south where it's discouraged to show emotion and having my mom teach me that i need to "man up" and basically hide my emotions had turned me into an emotionless crash out. I had anger problems because I was told to repress my feelings instead of processing them. I saw that as i got older and have changed a lot, but i still struggle with depression, anxiety, and processing my own emotions to this day

17:30 facts. There’s no reason to be aggressive all the time. This is why I show respect to everyone around me because I want to be respected. It’s nothing wrong with opening up sometimes as a man. Us men put up with so much in life to the point it makes us want to crash out. Society makes it to where if men open up, people will be like, “eh…you’ll be aight, eh you’ll get over it.” I’m guilty of not really opening up sometimes because people use that stuff against me, or go out and tell my business for entertainment.

If you can’t control yourself, then you’re a weak individual. On another note, many women in New York City have STDs due to not using protection. I’ve met 30 women in NYC who had genital herpes. So, young man, you’re not missing out on anything. I hate it, don't like it, as I got older I started to kind of branch out and leave that thinking, its HARD too do that, when you been drilled for 30 years about how you "Should" act, people always gonna hate bro and I'm sorry you still getting those wilding comments, all we can do is keep pushing through and ignoring the haters. I believe in ya bro keep grinding and doing you! you definitely inspire. MHE, gotta remember that we are human and not machines. I appreciate open and honest dialogue like this video and I need to practice this more in my relationships. Try not to let your emotions get bottled up or you may lash out at someone. In the past, I had some angry outbursts. This didn't happen often but when it happened it was awful. I would usually lash out at a family member. This would happen whenever I would go through experiences where I really wanted to stand up for myself or express myself but I held back. The anger just got built up inside of me..

I think the way I cope with this is giving myself an out date. I'm right out of school - got a nice job that is definitely a lot of work but pays decent and allows me to save a lot. I used to be a dancer as well before COVID and so I def relate to seeing my friends on tour and shi doing things all the time. 4.5 years from now (6 in this job total) I plan on taking a year off from working and trying to do other stuff. In this time I hope to develop the skills to be able to do that outside of my 9-5. This is just a job and it's not my life, I'm gonna keep on doing what I love and get good at the things I want to so when I'm free it's simply just me doing more of what I've been doing. I appreciate your perspective and it's really nice to know there's people out there who are trying to pursue meaningful lives in a world that is being drained of purpose

Nah honestly people hate nowadays for no reason. And honestly I’m not mad because that hate comes from something not going right in their lives. The problem is instead of seeking help/ advice or even just expressing our emotions our generation will just fall back to pride and hate on others for having something we don’t or kicking someone while they’re down. Kind of silly tbh but that’s the world we live in. It’s each of our own responsibility to be better, ignore the hate and better ourselves so then we can better our circles so that instead of being in a prideful environment we’ll be in an encouraging one.

You made money freely using your creativity, something lots of people fail at. It’s natural for you to have a hard time going back to being paid a wage to build someone company owners dream. Lots of people aren’t even satisfied with the lifestyle they live working a 9-5 each day, they just hate to see someone else speak out on it though because it reminds them of how unsatisfied they are. Nobody that’s actually happy with their situation will go out their way to hate on you for how you feel about your job.

@@LordHecSquad I have a few friends who work a corporate 9-5 but really want to do their own thing for the reasons you mentioned - being able to work on things you love, working/doing whatever you want whenever you want, etc. Typically when you work a corporate 9-5, it's on someone else's schedule (aka the business and the team you're on). I make good money at my corporate 9-5 remote job and have had the same thoughts you mentioned in your videos - "is life just supposed to be working 9-5 and all that?". I think you have to get pretty lucky at getting a nice 9-5 job for you to not mind it while also having time to do other things in life esp if you count on the 9-5 to fund your life. However, I do feel like a lot of entrepreneurs (like you and a few of my friends) tend to have those types of thoughts cause working on your own thing/business is way different than the corporate 9-5 stuff.

I know you're a YT'er with 100k+ subs, but you need to listen to me. If you share your emotions and some people act funny or dismiss them, they were not your audience. If just ONE person resonates with you, you did your job. Because now, you and that ONE person are no longer alone, you're together. And its never just ONE. A lot of people value what you say silently and wish you the best from a quiet position. Do not allow a number of people who don't ride with you, to dictate your honesty and transparency.
