Gravicci is good anti-Zombie. While the long-ass foreswing is there, it becomes less concerning since he is assigned to most suitable typing: Zombie. Most of zombie is low range and tank, so Gravicci has easier time to land an attack. His Freeze ability is now guaranteed, you do not need to deal with RNG bullshit anymore. New Strong ability is another great additional. His attack is now lethal to them while providing him good survivability against sudden burrowing attack. He is no longer that annoying officer guy. His attack has much better reward than before. However, the same thing can't be said to his anti-Relic typing. It's the opposite of Zombie. Most of them has big range or big piercing attack. If you try to use Gravicci on them face-to face, he will just get juggled. The key to use him properly on Relic enemy is to avoid direct confrontation. Find good stepping stone to active his Wave ATK and freeze his target. Gravicci is still fine anti-Relic, but he is not for every Relic stage

Gravicci is good in the right scenario, but I found that from using it as a generalist anti zombie that Gravicci is too inconsistent and finnicky. Half of the time he misses his attack because of their ridiculously long foreswing. Especially if you bring other strong attackers like cadaver, lil flying, etc.

Kitty of Liberty is a really overlooked cat. I like her usage in Starred Alien stages (CotC) despite not being anti-alien she can still dish out a lot of damage. I kinda compare her usage like how Shield Piercers are used in Aku levels, and I could even argue that KoL could be a decent overall generalist.

I am so glad that liberties usage is going up cuz I use them quite often and my friend has them in their general lineup and uses them everywhere they're surprisingly an excellent counter towards R Ost thanks for them being cheap with extremely high damage and having more than enough range hit them sometimes you can get more than one ungodly tanki Like dancer they perform amazingly throughout the entire game once you get their true form

I will always say this about dark kasli, her curse is amazing. Most curse units suck because they are specialized for their specific trait, which doesn't help very often, only in very specific scenarios. Dark Kalsi on the other hand can curse everything and makes almost every annoying enemy with abilites useless, enemies like saint pigge, henry, gobble, zrollow, m'ost etc... There is no doubt she is the best uber as with her curse uncanny legends becomes a joke with every relic enemy no longer cursing and just becoming tanky peons. With her curse she even makes mitama meta in uncanny cause you no longer have to worry about her losing her abilities.

Of course endgame requires proper units that can handle the ridiculous tasks it throws out, but my point was completely dismissing units period because they dont stack up to other units. I'm not begging for these bad units to get better, I just like playing the game and seeing a random unit shine, even for a brief moment. Also my favorite unit's are the Titan Family, and I know better than to bring their asses to most stages, but its about making unorthadox strats work that can make the game more fun, but go ahead, demand us to have courier in every lineup. That sure is fun. At the end of the day, it's just fun to discuss this game and some units that have even an iota of potential, and I'm gonna continue doing that.

as a Gravicci owner, yeah, he's very awkward to use, no matter the form, all due to that 3 seconds foreswing, making him miss both his freeze, and his wave, incredibly often, so if you do even need to use this hot piece of ass (can be taken two ways), be mindful about that, also Vigler = Lucifer, no further questions, just two hot demons. As for the Merc thing, yes, that is true, Merc can be extremely helpful early on, like in Aguham of CotC 1, if you're lucky, she can help sweep the metals and make it flow MUCH smoother!

-Regarding the Gravicci question, I've tried him and yea he's kind of strange to use, but is useful in the places he works. His cat combo with riceball is a good alternative for the "bio-bone" combo if you need the slots. -I understand why Kai can be considered bad due to that massive fore-swing, but she does have shield pierce and deals a lot of damage when it does hit. Also the recent Aku Defense orb S makes her job easier. -I agree Yamii still is bad at his anti-Aku job, but thankfully its now one of the best wave blockers in the game. -Please give more respect to Mizli... especially the fact that super talents may give the funni blue bnuuy a new niche at some point (hopefully metal related).

People should treat Multi-hit as 2/3 different attack on the same unit or even enemy. I do understand the dps divide thing but again, it's just a different attack which the unit perform that might hit again or not. Take Nalaa as an example. He have 3 part multi-hit that is just connected to each other and will almost never attack an enemy 2 times. What makes him good is that he attack different area at slighty different time and each attack area have its own dps (I don't own Nalaa I can't say more than that though...). Or a multi-hit unit that relies everything on third hit like Crazed Moneko or Jagando which their ability is on third hit, it only means that they can protect themself from enemy while preparing for the real attack. Better than those unit with long forswing and can't protect itself while doing the animation.

Writing off units is something I've been guilty of before, just keep in mind that just because a unit is outclassed doesn't mean it's bad. The worst thing I've done is (while seed tracking) chose sweet love mekako over sweet aphrodite because I heard that it's worse than radiant aphrodite. It is, but mekako is worse in general

Hey Mark, I sadly can't comment in community posts thanks to my device, but I hope that you can at least see 1 of these hot takes: Continuing from the Atlantis Logistix hot take, it has one of the BEST combos in this game, with Courier, this combo carries H A R D in zombie and regular stages, its a great way to start early game regularly, and a greater way to salvage money in zombie stages. Shitakiri Sparrow(Chunchun Hunters) is actually underrated, he sucks against aku, but he bullies Exiel, this was before I even got Kintaro, Chunchun's health is pretty nice and his kb helps to give your other units some breathing room, keep in mind everything here is based on the Exiel experience, I don't use him normally in angel stages since Kintaro and Sarukani already shred, but he does exceptionally well against Exiel. Yellow Stone Volcano in Hunter's Map 3 is pure evil, you have to face the behemoth Owl, who is actually horrifying, and after all that pain, you only get ONE Yellow Stone, another reason why I'm not looking toward to getting Hitman and Luza. Akane Tendo, from the Ranma 1/2 collaboration is much better than Mousse, I do NOT care if Mousse has Aphrodite's pierce or whatever, curse works horribly against zombies and you will most likely want to freeze, slow, or nuke aliens than curse them. Himeyuri is so forgotten yet she is probably the only anti-angel that outranges Winged Pigge that doesn't have LD, I used her for that alot before I even got Kintaro, I don't use her for that anymore and I only use her against relics now. The entirety of the Aku trait is slowly getting nerfed, as more Akuber true forms come, the trait is slowly getting weaker, take Rangmaster for an example, he was the most monstrous aku enemy, and all it took was for a 10 year old boy just to gain a small bit of color on his cape and a funny looking hat just to throw Rangmaster in the pushover territory. I don't think you will actually see this, but if you do, it would be greatly appreciated.

It feels mundane and boring in my personal opinion, Luza is a great ending but overall that’s the only memorable stage i can think of aside from birth of true man and the rest of the stages of humanity catified after the doron stretch. specialist > generalist i still think primative souls 3 star is the hardest level, the otters is what do it for me.

6:23 I used to be one of those people, but as time went on and I'd watch some of the ranking vids or showcase vids and see them talking down on x unit's stats or calling a unit outright bad or "outclassed" and began thinking, "no, I actually like this unit" or, "that stat is fine, what are you talking about." I'm not sure what triggered this, likley in improved game sense after taking the game a bit more seriously iver the last year, but being able to formulate my own opinions on units based on my own usage instead of calling units I dont even own bad becuase someone else said so has massively improved my enjoyment of the game. I do still use those videos to get an idea of what to expect out of a unit that I don't yet own, and I'm not saying I always disagree with their opinions, but I no longer take their rankings or opinions as fact nor do I stray away from using specific units due to what one of those videos said about them. I've also noticed that they tend to take very minor issues and act like it ruins the unit, which annoys me when that does happen (i.e. Vigler's backswing.).

Unfortunately, I missed participating in this one, but it is still fun to see everyone else's input at the end of the day. Here's some of my hot takes anyways: - Eraser Cat is overrated. Too hard and inconsistent to to level fast enough to scale with the rest of your units nowadays, and replaceable by other meatshields (Riceball, Jiangshi, Li'l Eraser). - Luza's True Form is low priority. In the current scope of BC, all of the endgame stages where you would potentially use Luza are easily beatable without him, with cheaper options such as Awakened Naala for general purpose replacement, and Doron + Idi for M. Ost. Save your stones for Supercar and Hitman. - Hades is extremely strong (S tier or A+ if you tier list doesn't use SSS tier). He doesn't "break" any stages before endgame, but his power is strong enough to easily work on most tanking stages and make a difference between you losing and winning. In endgame however, he scales incredibly well due to HP talents and boosting to 50, as well the fact that specialized tanking becomes more niche in favor of Hades' massive generalist tanking capabilities.

I can definitely agree that eraser has fallen off a lot because with all the power creep in the game now are you going to punish so far to the point that you're going to have like a level 27 or 31 tank cat when you reach uncanny Legends Luza‘s for me is going to be a very high priority cuz I'm just going to get him and then get every other it's going to be painful but for me that's probably the easiest method of getting all the legends I can agree with Haiti since I just got him but I need to leveling him up since I just started the aku part of uncanny Legends I assume this is where his power spike is anyways I love the content I've been watching you since the underrated units video like first came out

I think Another reason curse is overlooked is that it's a pretty uncommon ability.pretty much The only non uber or event cursers are boomerang, who is terrible, and masked grandmaster, who is annoying to get and doesn't even have curse as his main ability anyway

I do not like using cameraman yes, he is a good unit, but due to my burst damage/nuker focused playstyle, he doesn't looks that good in comparison to the rest. Due to his low range, he dies super easily, and while I really like using midrangers, he is too fragile to survive even the smallest push. The survive ability helps, sure, but it is not enough. He is also incapable of doing anything when alone, which makes him look really bad in cash starving situations (that I put myself into every single time because I don't know how to properly manage my money) overall, I've only used him for very specific bosses, like li'l lion, and I never bring him in my lineups, prefering units like pizza, can can, courier, cutter, rocc, jello or bullet train. And if I need something that can be stacked, I always go with dragon and mina, since they have a lot more range

Jiangshi is a top 5 gacha rare (because courier and other behemoth cats) dont kill me. Its perfect especially against high peon stages and backline bosses like nyandam variants and even le noir.. some say metal cat is great against those but I disagree due to how much wiggle room it has as a meatshield. With stages with lots of spam and money it serves as a great option for a meatshield because it could handle anything. I haven’t used kyubey and assuming the last time that collab appeared, I’ll probably never get it but it’s just kyubey without the rng hassle. Jiangshi is a great meatshield to use and is still relevant throughout UL which lands it in the top 5 gacha rares. It also has tiny ancient hunt so thats a bonus

Using these two units can boost both lucifer's damage and cactus's health, making them a great combo. Talented Poseidon is one of the best almighties in the endgame. I find much more usage for him than amaterasu or chronos, being a nuke rusher with nearly 300k savage blow damage and rebound he can occasionally dish out rapid savage blows if a backliner is knocking him back, only flaw is foreswing.

I think 9:32 has some other things to add on, the treasures make it easier but not cheap and still makes the finales of each chapter in cotc plus cat god is cool but dumb that he is repeated 3 times and after you beat the 3rd chapter of cotc and possibly the final chapter of story mode only for filibuster obstructa to show up and have. The most unique of the story mode stages and defeating him gives you the unit and this concludes the game and while it goes on and meta filibuster being the true final boss of the game, cotc feels like the finale given it has a lot to offer and restrictions give it another mechanic the game teaches you about to prepare for 4 crown sol and ul

General tanking ubers are much stronger than they're given credit for. It took me a while to warm up to using them, but Hades, Kai, and Garu all provide incredible defense in a ton of stages (especially Hades, he's borderline top tier when talented). Catman is not that great anymore. His only realistic endgame use is against m.ost, and even then, luza now exists and is debatably as good against m.ost. Vigler's combo alone makes him top tier.

I can agree with the tanker and the catman thing because he is less and less viable throughout the game but catman's extremely strong throughout the early to mid game he was my only anti Angel Uber for a ridiculously long time that wasn't like an ultra Soul I heard you as an extremely strong generalist but somehow I did not use him that much outside of angels he still it's incredibly hard though and that's for the vigler thing he's an extremely strong unit requires 200np to get and that's just overly expensive considering the units just fine at level one or just true formed because of the combo and I don't have the NP to get him up like that

A hot take that I have might be not acceptable at all, but here we are I guess... True forms lil' cats stages should not have conditions and I will explain why The first problem is the lack of good units that actually can counter most of the enemies from the stages. For example, the lil mowhak stage has a freaking Professor A. with a bear in the background while you are fighting the stupid lil mowhak that has a LOT of HP, I know that you can stack Minas and prisoners cats but that only feels eternal. Eraser has too much damage, too much hp and the range is obnoxiously sh*t, yeah sure, it's a challenge but no WAY that level doesn't feel unfair. My last example needs to be Lil axe, is extremely unfair fighting a cat that is useless when you gain his TF and also that has a constant attack that has a chance of freezing, not even that you also will struggle with a freaking Sunfish, everything under the rule of CONDITIONS

I agree with the little dark problem cuz that's when I got freeze immunity on my dancer little cats stupid professor a is very dumb because the best unit to counter it is in January that means if you don't have prisoner you're just screwed no you can do is stacked up Mina then again courrier might have power crap that part of the game to and little eraser can be easily taken care of by vendor cat because my friend just use a level 18 vendor and it survived the hit against little eraser and knocked it back and just use a lot of meat shield and bahamut and wolf and mega cat does actually surprisingly good in that stage and dancer

Yeah, you're right, that restriction may be not a problem in Li'l Gross and Li'l Cow, but it does on stages like Li'l Titan, Li'l Axe and Li'l Lizard, cause we are limited to EX/Rare units (which is that restriction). They at least should let us use Legend Rare units on a future update, or by default, eliminate that restriction. Li'l Jam has 90% chance of do wave which is too much, cause the only 4* wave blocker is Supercat, and the unit's range is low. Li'l Eraser, like you said, has too much range, HP, and it's painfully hard, cause the only units can outrange Li'l Eraser are Mina, Bahamut (Evo), Li'l Nyandam, Ururun, Urs and Musashi. At least they should nerf that enemy's range, like having the same range of the unit version, to balnce it.

please read this... Dark iz is so, so, SO underrated. i might be a little bit biased because she was my second uber, but I'm serious. At level 30, she has 76500 health and 17340 damage at level 30, which SOUNDS low, but with her massive damage to traitless multiplying that by 3, she has 52020 damage against traitless, and with her 150% strengthen, it's 78030, or 54K DPS. That is a HECK LOT. The 100% chance barrier breaker, 100% shield piercer, zkill, and immunity to LITERALLY EVERY DEBUFF IN THE GAME doesn't hurt either. Overall, i think she is completely underrated, mostly because of darktanyan.

idk if this is a hot take but does anyone feel that after a little into UL the stages just get annoying. I'm a bc veteran and the UL stages just never hit the same as any chapter or story of legends. Zero legends really bring it back for me as the wackiness of the stage design make for fun an interesting team line ups. But the UL stages near mid or late into the story have almost no interest in player creativity. I would look at the enemy line up and see a strong front liner, strong mid ranger, and strong sniper enemy and be confused on what type of cat I need to use in order to survive any range in the battle. Many times you look up the answer and have to strictly stick to a guide because most line ups are null. I didn't have fun playing UL stages even when testing different line ups because if you didn't hit the exact sweet spot you'd just slowly watch yourself lose. I hate that I have to grind 4 stars for it. On that note another take is that Idi shouldn't be locked behind 4 stars. I know its a major reward for getting 4 stars in an entire story but for a unit that is heavily relied on in many stages or make some stages less of a endurance test. Having it locked behind such a grind fest is bad design. I only want to grind 4 star UL because I can already feel the true form for Idi being locked behind that. Maybe not as we see with Filibuster, could be a special chapter. I'm not sure what you could give the player for finishing such an achievement but it sucks for anyone who grinded out Story of Legends just to get to UL and see many relic stages being done with Idi. Then having to look back at the story they just finished just to go redo it all 3 more times.

In 4 stars, you can't just Ubercarry and have to actually go outside the comfort zone and use cats that you won't use otherwise. And no, only the early SOL stages get buffed in 4 stars, the late SOL stages and UL don't get buffed. Levels with condition > Normal levels because it encourages different strategy so you can't just brainlessly use the same unit to win.

Chunchun haunters is a very good unit. He is essentially a second ururun wolf, and shuts down heavy aku and angel pushes, and has sniping potential. People really took his ranking in a xskull video as facts. Also the first form is kinda bad, but you can set up a stepping stone and somewhat use it, but it's very niche. Second form OP, and will hopefully get some major improvements in true form like some of the other ultra souls. easy A- teir.

I do genuinely agree, she was my first uber in my current save, and has been surprisingly reliable. her curse may be a little useless, but it ignores how she's one of the few CC aku choices, and does pack a decent punch. I guess it's just a classic case of Jizo overshadowing her.

"He is essentially a second ururun wolf" Being a generic ranger with low range, mediocore damage and suiciadal speed isn't very valuable, especially when there aren't any shortage when it comes to generalist backliners that can do the same job as him "shuts down heavy aku and angel pushes" KB enemies create risk for your cats to miss their attacks, reposition the enemies and push your cats into backliner's attack. Beside, Sanzo can stop the angel pushers more effectively then him anyways. As for Aku, most of them utilise shield to counter and the shieldless one like Aku gory have very fast speed so pushing them back don't really matter that much when you can control them with damage.

Oh my I'm late to this. Anyway, my hot take is: Madoka is an incredibly underrated Uber. After testing her in a bunch of Floating stages, I can conclude she basically was a secondary, slightly weaker Aphrodite. The reason she's so put aside is because she's overshadowed by the latter. However in mixed stages, with Alien and Floating being a main one, she proved herself to be a very good assist to Aphrodite, almost like a second one. Of course, the Valentines Aphrodite - I forgot the name - works as a secondary as well, but if you do actually need an Anti-Floating backliner, Madoka is definitely a top pick if you have her.

Those debuffs of Tyrant aren't consistant or long enough to actually be worth relying on. Talented Cyberpunk outclass him in the debuff department with Cyber's 100% slow, 50% uptime and stackability. I disagree with the cameraman as the best rare, ramen easily outclassess it by virtue having more uses, yes cameraman is a very stackable bum bun slayer. But she still has plenty of weaknesses. Firstly she basically has melee range, for a stackable attacker, this is a pretty heavy disadvantage since unless the enemy you are stacking against high knockback counts or simply low health, the stack can fall pretty quickly. Another issue is how hard a time cameraman can have getting a hit in, with slow movement speed and sluggish attack startup, cameraman can easily suffer a bahamut moment and get repeatedly knockbacked why trying to get an attack in. Lastly, courier has replaced cameraman as the stackable midranger. Ramen's strengths come from being a beast in terms of stats as a generalists and being an impenetrable wall against angels(even against new angel enemies ramen remains the number one answer to dealing with them)

I personally have 2 hot takes 1. Legend Rares are too rare, and some of them aren't even as good as uber rares (Enter Legoluga), I've played this game for about 4 years F2P and still don't have a single legend rare, i think inventing a pity system would be nice, like every 300 rolls you are guaranteed a legend rare, or make a ticket that can ONLY GIVE LEGEND RARES (Looking at you Legend ticket) 2. One of the best Dragon Emperor's in my opinion is Ganglion, i don't see much appreciation for him. People give him shit because he is kind of a rusher, but i personally think that works for him in a lot of stages that you would usually use him in.

1. the average is a lot lower overall-as a tracker I can say I usually get them every 100-200 draws. and secondly, any time you would get a legend rare is consistent across all banners-any draw that gives you a legend rare will give you one on any banner that has one. so, if you really want one just dump on a banner with lr's and you should get one. 2. no one questions that ganglion is then #2 demp. however, that isn't really saying much considering how bad the banner is. also, ganglion has mediocre damage for a rusher, bad dps for a unit of his range, and very long foreswing and cooldown for a rusher.

Meaning unless your using the 2 manic meatsheild strat it's pretty much dead. The dps before the strengthen is also bad might I add, as some viable options that you could use it against is Mr mur or r.ost. sure they have things like shield piercing which has a low appearance, they fall off with other shield Pierce unit's such as talented divine Kai, who can tank a hit from either fallen bear or the elephant (I forgot the name). And with barrier breaker you already have any elemental pixie, or outshined by kitty of liberty. Their zombie killer sucks too, too low dmg, and in mid-late game the zombies are really heavily boosted into their dmg. And things like knock back immune is bad, having only 2 knock backs gives them no real chance to reposition especially with again, that below average HP. Other things that don't really matter are things like surge immune. With a good anti surge is talented gato amigo (I'm not sure if cactus has surge immune as I don't own them), any other meat shield other then amigo or metal macho are gonna die. But even so, they have significantly less move speed vs iz. Warp immune is gonna shred them as a single boosted starred peng in the relic cyclone last stage is gonna 1 shot them, even at lvl 30. Low dmg, bad health, no real usage vs any other trait, and fast move speed. They seem good at first glance, but you could settle for things that do other massive damage vs trait less like doron. (At least they outshine myrica)

She is far better than Kai as a shield piercer. Her piercing range allow her to snipe fallen bear and utilise the peons as stepping stone, her rapid attacks allow her to juggle enemies such as Midnite.D, her HP is still enough to tank a hit from Le.Behemoth (not a behemoth) and ackey, her immunities allow her to roam free in most aku stages (especially in The Aku Realm). Claiming that she "fall off" is straight up wrong when she is one of the best anti aku to have. "Their zombie killer sucks too, too low dmg, and in mid-late game the zombies are really heavily boosted into their dmg." Her damage is still usable with 10K strengthen damage. Consider the fact that most zombies have low range and their stage usually don't give a lot of cash, Iz can definately perform well in pure and especially mixed stage. Weird complaint consider the fact that you aren't suppose to fight them directly, you use Relic Cyclone as a stepping stone and bully those pengs with LD and wave attackers. In normal battle, you can use cat like Seafarer, Catellite or Chill to support her while she endure the warps from the alien backliners. "Low dmg, bad health, no real usage vs any other trait, and fast move speed." Her damage is decent with strengthen, her HP is good, an excellent anti aku, a good rusher toward other traits and incredibly versatile with her wide immunities, fast movement speed is a plus for a rusher. I do appreciate this comment actually, I did probably get for on wrong, but it was gladios which I meant. But even as a late game player, with my only other anti trait less as myrica, I'd prefer things that don't even specialize with that. Like empress/princess, or ritual saint. With decent damage as ritual saint has them stand in the surge, where empress is a LD unit without a blind spot. Still, with aku having high damage/dps. It's not ideal. Plus, these are level 30 stats I'm talking about. You might be too idk. And I haven't ran into things like midnite d, I just use kai or lmg (lil macho legs) for my shield piercing. Maybe I under use iz, but I'm gonna stick by my hot take, and use others like kasli, empress, or other specials like awakened ururun, Yuki, or awakened mina

Hot take i'm sure traitless might be the most power crept trait in terms of no Uber like I mean they're stuff like Hitman Lord of ruin jr n001 glass vendor that destroy the entire trait edit this was a horrible take I was like barely awake when I made it I have a new take dark Joe is the single worst enemy introduced with the behemoths his abilities don't seem that bad it's only just a 5% chance to toxic which is stupid but since I got naala's true form all he ever seems to do with toxic him why does an enemy properly with insane range with over two million health 20K damage that attacks rapidly need a 5% chance to toxic they introduced so many behemoth The aren't bad in their initial update that just became god awful later on like pterowl not that bad at first but then they released stages that make him god awful to fight like birth of true man infernal crater area 10

Here's the thing, all of those units can only be obtained in late game when traitless are rampant in early/mid game. Claiming traitless are THE MOST powercreeped is wrong when you consider the fact that red, floating, black and wave exist and are getting bullied by the rare and super rare we have.

@@Only4two100bucks yeah I guess you're right about them being very late in the game but n001 is obtained in early mid i honestly have a harder time with black enemies and red and floating then white enemies
