This is by far the best and most refined version of the Neptune. The movement upgrade alone over the NH35 is a significant jump and what pushed me to finally get one (4hz, no more ghost date position)

C Miller I had the v2 black/gilt and loved it, but as soon as they announced v3 I sold it and got this one- got blue and white. What an upgrade! This is the best. Never selling this absolutely love it

Can you guys who own it tell me if that miyota rotor winds like crazy and makes vibration that its annoying? I ask because i like the watch a lot but i had one with similar mechanism in past Bi-directional rotor and it drived me crazy from that vibration and non stop feeling the rotor on my wrist and i sold it.
@helvete58154 жыл бұрын
Unstoppable93 admittedly it is pretty loud but I’ve personally never felt it vibrating from the rotor moving. Just noisy.

@@Visitor555 No vibration in mine. It is slightly louder than my Grand Seiko Hi-beat as far as the rotor goes, but not bad in my opinion. Honestly my only complaint is the bracelet. Hollow links, but then again the watch is $499, so I might be expecting too much. I mean after all my Rolex has hollow links but it is also 28 years old.

this is a prime example of what's in and what are people attracted to now. Reasonable sized (40 and below) vintage style dive watch with simple dial and good lum. Key characteristic: Slimmer bezel, bubble domed crystal, high contrast striking hour marks, strong, decisive and masculine hands. Good thing more and more manufacturers are taking notes.
@MrOstefar4 жыл бұрын
It seems like a really nice piece for the price. It has a really "authentic vintage" feeling about it, if you know what I mean. I see some Omega, Yema and Tudor here, but I think it has its own thing going on, and the bracelet really fits the watch. The brand gets a bit of hate on other channels, but I think they could be considered serious as a microbrand.

@jaysterling264 жыл бұрын
Interesting you've mentioned Yema. I'm thinking of a Yema, or a Lorier Neptune, or Falcon. I haven't come across reviews for the Falcon on KZbin. My concern is that it could be a bit small ( says the skx013 wearer..).Ah, such a decision.

How about the noise of the movement makes? Is it loud as other reviewer says?
@roybenjey3 жыл бұрын
After owning mine for awhile, I still really like it. A simple, elegant, and solid diver that makes me just as happy as my old Sub. For me, an unexpected shift has happened regarding mechanical watches. Ever since Swatch cutoff ETA from the rest of the market (largely), the alternatives from Sellita and STP have been far from impressive (haven't heard much regarding Soprod). Given the price difference on top of reliability issues, I've been much happier with the Japanese movements. I just haven't had anywhere near the number of problems with these compared to the Swiss movements in the lower to mid-tier brands. Until things change, I think I'll be happy to stick with either the very low and/or high-end of the spectrum (maybe with the exception of certain Swatch brands utilizing the 2892 or newer column-wheel - and Tudor).

I like the plexi glass. But I also like a speedmaster with hesalight. Really don’t understand why people are so hung up of sapphire. If you like the watch the crystal shouldn’t be a deal breaker. You can always change it later.
@mac943123 жыл бұрын
Its bizarre. People become so dogmatic with hobbies. I would reckon most haven't even had a plexi-glass watch before. Someone or some company told them it is bad. "Sapphire good, Plexi-glass bad"

Yeah it’s silly.. I don’t care what crystal the watch has.. I care about design, build quality, proportions, and that it comes from a brand that I respect.

Check the size on your wrist. I got one and it was so small. Also if you wear it low down on your wrist you'll pop the clasp open. It looked lovely but I changed my mind after 10 mins of having it. All my fault for not checking size. Not blaming the watch.

Plexi will still scratch soo easy. Got a Undone with Lexan plexi and I think about it when I wear. So only Sapphire for me now! It just gives ME more confidence when wearing it. Not having to worry about scraping the domed crystal. Sapphire crystal and a ceramic or Sapphire bezel and this is a MUST cop for me. And most likely the dark blue gilt 👌

I bought the Baltic Aquascape which looks similar but I'm unsatisfied with the machining quality of the inside and sides of the bracelet (it's very rough and sharp). Is the inside of the bracelet smooth Rob? I'm seriously thinking of selling my Baltic to buy this.
