Thank you a lot! It is always great to hear that there is somebody sharing same passion! Ah 190e is on my list for cars to buy, it is really hard to find good examples out there for reasonable money... Oh BBS, one of my favorite brands, send us a picture on Instagram when you have wheels installed. Have fun with your projects. All the best, ATR.

Oh, only 1 year difference! This is from 1994. Happiness doesn't have price! If it gives you a smile every time you look on the car, it is fully worth it! :) I wish you many miles/kilometers that you make on that wheels :)

Hallo, super Videos! Sind die Kotflügel original oder wurde nachgearbeitet? Oder gibt es zwischen Vor Mopf Coupe und Mopf Coupe Unterschiede? LG Bilal

Google translate: Vielen Dank, die Kotflügel sind original, ich bin mir nicht sicher, was Sie mit „Vor Mopf Coupe und Mopf Coupe“ meinen.

Would et 22 fit on a sedan?
@addictedtorust9 ай бұрын
Good question, they will stick out from fenders, so you would need really low profile tire so it doesn't rub, you can check my other video on channel with Brock B1 where I used 9J ET15 16" wheels with low profile works, but not comfortable drive...

Hi! How are you getting on with these? I’m interested in a pair that’s for sale that are the exact same size for my “93 wagon. Worried about rubbing and extra wear on hubs. Would appreciate any Info!!

Hi, I didn't use it for a long time so I can tell you if it has big impact on overall vehicle. (I drive it for few weeks until I get something new to record for the channel). You should definitely worry about rubbing as they are tight fit. Sometimes even profile of the tire can be different from manufacturer to manufacturer, and tire can be "wider". My car is lowered and if your car is also, then I would suggest 215/45/17 on front and 225/45/17 for rear wheels as I had in video and then you could get some rubbing only in fully steer or going over some big bumps, but overall should be fine for driving. Note that it will not be smooth ride like on 15", you could definitely tell the difference. But this also depends on your setup. If you have different setup then I would suggest to go to any tireshop and ask for old tires somebody replaced, so that you can try different dimensions, maybe for your setup 225/45/17 would be also fine for front wheels, but I didn't want to risk to much rubbing for myself. One thing to note is that my ASD Differential created big "gap" and when starting/stopping/changing gears you can hear "kicks". I would definitely say this is because of using bigger wheels (17 and 18") then suggested by factory (15"). I hope this was helpful. Thank you for watching. Consider subscribing if not already. All the best, ATR.

@@addictedtorust Hi! Ok good to know. With the tires you’ve recommended though should that solve the problem?? Is there a cool 17” monoblock wheel that you’ve tried that works perfect for the w124?
@addictedtorust Жыл бұрын
I was using for a long time original AMG Mnoblocks 17", there is a video on my channel for that wheels also. They are 7.5J ET35 comparing to this 8J ET33,, so Lorinser is just wider for 0.5" and have 2mm wheel pushed outwards. On AMG I did run 225/45/17 on all wheels, but I did experience rubbing on inner walls when fully steer for front wheels. Because of that I choose now to drive 215/45/17 if I have bigger then 7.5J wheels on front. But is this fixing a problem, not really sure... I didn't drive them that much to confirm that I do not see rubbing anymore. Please note once again, that this is just my experience, if you have slightly different setup on your own car, it could be completely different experience. All the best, ATR.
