I love watching your hermit crab videos , I have a fruit fly problem in my crabs tank , & I’ve tried to cover the top with a towel , take away the fruits in the morning,& I’ve also boiled everything in the tank but nothing I do gets rid of them . Do you have any suggestions?

Morning Lori!! lol I just woke up. Blue is a speedy one!!! 🐢 all of your animals are so lucky, they all have so much room and are all sooooo happy!!! Moo Moo always comes to the glass to see you, Blue is speeding around, koa looks like he is smiling and the hermit crabs are always out and about, and I don’t even need to explain bodie- look how far he has come ( I could go on). You won’t find a Egyptian at a expo, they are extremely expensive and rare, but if you did please take extra time and research and if you’re a kid living at home plwaseeeee don’t get one. It’s not a commitment you can truly make as a kid, bc it’s a 50 year commitment! Xoxoxox

I’m asking you because I’m already here and well I trust you, do you know if I flew from Cincinnati back to south Florida the airport would but up any problem for having a leopard gecko? Do you think the leopard gecko would be fine? Have you had any experience with flying with reptiles? Owen Tice Mercury fapor works great for tortoises, but if their enclosure is massive maybe also use a uvb strip too, vapor bulbs are very concentrated and don’t cover wide areas :)

Wow! Make sure you’re 1,0000 percent ready! They are massive 50 year plus commitments, you have to pick their food outside daily, they can’t have store greens, they require massive enclosures and lots of outside time. Pleaseeee think it through fully! 💗💗💗😭😭😭

Is there any specific temp/percentage of humidity that you keep your crested geckos enclosure at? I’m looking into adopting one but before I do that I wanna make sure I have the enclosure perfect.

Crested geckos should be kept in temps from 70-78 degrees and should have 50% humidity for most of the day, and 80-100% humidity for a couple hours, which can be done when you spray the tank. Do you have any more questions?

I know someone who is dumb and keeps three box turtles in a ten gallon and had no heat or humidity in the enclosure. She ho them from the wild and kept them because they where “injured.” She keeps them in the basement too where it is very cold.

You've said you had a guniea pig before right? Well I need more food items that have Vitamin C that Guinea Pigs can eat....she doesn't like oranges and I heard too many carrots can hurt her. I would buy her special food, but that's expensive. I don't know what else to do.

Ellie Colton I can afford it, but it's unessecarily expensive. What's with the attitude? I just asked for vegetables and fruits that could give her a dose of Vitamin C that will make her happy. Changing the food brand and such too much will make her sick. Each food is different and she already likes the food she's eating. I just wanted something else for her because they need fruits and vegetables in their diet anyway. So I figured that I could get more that will give her Vitamin C.
