I know that Will will not see this comment, rather, nobody will see it, but Lorna Shore was a before and after in my musical taste, Will is a beast and I have learned a lot from him to improve my vocals and my favorite song of all It's Of the abyss and it's the one I always leave at the end to finish practicing because like him, the orchestra, the drums, the choirs, the guitars, everything is perfect for me in this song and that's why when I practice my gutturals it's the one I leave last because it's where I give my all and it feels so good

We saw it (your comment) bud lol :).You are correct, will IS a beast and a mensch among men (no I'm not Jewish, but it fits), Such a contagious spirit (in a good way). I don't think I've seen a smile on his face that he didn't deserve 100 fold. From what I've seen, he gives every bit as much as he gets and is going to be someone to pay attention to for a long time to come. Your comment didn't fall on deaf ears, I'm sure a lot of us understand you fully and agree with you whole heartedly :).

Is it weird that I'm kind of obsessed with this man? 😅 I really love how he's already thinking about/planning for the future (voice acting) cause he's knows he can't do what he's doing right now when he's 50. Humble, respectful, perceptive, talented, AND wise? Damn man.
@jasonnielsen5976 Жыл бұрын
I just saw the last show of their tour with Gojira and Mastodon, there was a moment during Pain Remains, his head tilted back and he had the most genuine smile on his face, what it conveyed to me was a guy that is walking into all his dreams coming to fruition, i hadn't even listened to these guys until a week before the show, they're my new favorite band, I've literally had them on Spotify since the concert, my wife loved the concert as well, but she's asking if we can listen to something else 😂

It really is, his vocals are amazing, but without the track behind it and the amazing direction for the video, actors, stage crewmen... he'd just be another youtuber with an amazing talent. Everything you don't see is what he is referring to, no way he's going to take all the credit and be this popular, he's honest and he speaks from a good heart, I think that's why everyone wants to interview him, and other band members as well, they're all a great fit for the success of this band.

I can't remember where, but I read something very fitting the other day. A lot of bands have great vocalists, but very few have great frontmen. And that's what Will is, he's a frontman. He has a great character and personality. He's approachable, he'll do interviews, he'll guest on literally any bands songs be it on tour or videos, he's just an all-round package.

So, I’d heard Lorna Shore’s music, and my son was all “ I LOVE THIS!” the first time he heard a song of theirs on KZbin. Great band. Then, we saw them live. HOLY CRAP, THEY ARE FANTASTIC LIVE!! We saw them this spring, on the Chaos & Carnage tour. Lorna added a couple more die-hard fans, with that show (actually, based on the reaction of the audience I think they gained a LOT of fans that night.) The whole band is really fantastic live. The drums are insane, and Will is really terrific. He’s friendly toward the audience, incredibly energetic, just puts his all into the performance. He’s obviously happy to be there, which makes the whole vibe of the show really positive. He’s just so personable. Like in this interview, but onstage. His vocals are absolutely ferocious, and he really sounds just as good live as he does on record. Just WAY more intense because he’s RIGHT THERE doing these insane vocals, 10 feet away and it’s…just awesome to experience. I think Lorna Shore and Lamb of God are my two favorite live acts right now….and they’re both on tour & coming to town (PDX) in the next month or so - so I’m taking my son & 1-2 friends to both shows. On a school night…😮 Bad mom.

I work in software and we do not care how people look. I remember working for a small software company when I got my foot tattoo. I was walking around the office barefoot and this tech support dude who always worse sweaters no matter how hot it was outside was blown away like "dude, how are you not in trouble for walking around barefoot??" I told him nobody cared and then brought up his use of sweaters. Come to find out he has full sleeves on both arms. I told him nobody would care so he took his sweater off and I swear the look on his face was like pure bliss. And nobody cared, a few people asked him about parts of his sleeves but other than that, he was not bothered about them.

Concept albums are my favorite style. While listening to them I can close my eyes and go on a journey and see a movie in my head. And every time I re-listen that journey and movie become more vivid. I also like songs that last more than 4 minutes, songs that tell a story, that takes me on the journey. Lorna Shore nails these styles.
@Thanatos29962 жыл бұрын
I'm glad he touched on the orchestrals, they're seriously well done on this album, particularly through the trilogy. The last part Pain Remains III, when they drop out for a second and come back in with the orchestral part from II, the choir from I, and that scream, is incredible. Couple that with some stellar lighting, and that moment is easily the best thing I've ever seen live.

For real though... If you had asked me pre-covid (32 now) if I'd ever listen to, let alone count the minutes to an album release, of a deathcore band... I'd straight up laugh at you. (though I do admit I probably would have listened to wbtbwb regularly). My previous kind of "heavy" was things like In Flames, FIR, mister misery, acaedia, mick gordon... but this was just so heavy and fucking brutal, and the lyrics were so deep... It just works for me. So much so, that I am quite literally counting days to release. Thanks for giving me something new and refreshing Lorna Shore. Yall did good picking someone as likable and charismatic as Will is. I absolutely love watching interviews with Will and Adam. I really do appreciate what you guys do

Since most of the people who listen to Lorna Shore are kids and around my son's age ( he's 25 and I'm 52), my opinions on Will and Lorna shore are gonna sound a bit like a lecture lol.... Ive been listening and following Will since he was in his old band and even then I though his vocals were sick. In the short time he's been in Lorna Shore his vocals have expanded and the music of the band as a whole is amazing. For someone so young to have the vision and musical talent that he does things can only get better from here on out. He has the vision with his band mates to enthrall people with the sheer power and melodic sounds that they come up with. I can not wait to see what the future holds with Lorna Shore.
