My friend uses hers for her daughter's sleep overs. She cuts grocery bags down to size, drops one in the bowl koozie, drops a coffee filter on top of that and fills the bowls with popcorn. Each of the girls have their own bowl of popcorn. I love the idea. Thank you for the free PDF pattern. God bless you and your family always.

Thank you Lorrie! I loved how you trimmed the batting down after cutting to size to keep it out of the seam allowance. I am going to start using this method for bags also because I can never seem to cut the batting smaller. It always end up in the seam allowance no matter hw careful I am lol my friend wants cozies for her birthday next week, love your tutorial. ⭐️

Made some for my husband and I and did not care for all the work I had to do to it and the top stitching was hard to do with the batting and material and I graded the seams too. Like yours and will use it for my son, been waiting to find one to use besides the one I used. Thank You Stay safe and see you soon.

Wrap and Zap seemed to be better quality batting. When I tried the warm and natural cotton batting it was so much more thin and less heat / cold resistant. I needed to add an extra layer of cotton batting to get it to my liking.

Love this pattern! This will help me get them done quicker. I always have to remind myself that only 100% cotton fabric, 100% cotton batting, and 100% cotton thread must be used for these koozies or they will pop and crack in the microwave. Thank you again.

I made this to fit a standard bowl. If you want one to fit a plate which wouldn’t need to have the bowl shape, you would need to basically trace your plate ?

I was told that the batting would not only have to be 100% cotton but also would have to have no scrim if you are going to put into microwave. Doesnt warm and natural batting have scrim? Also you need cotton thread if using in microwave and not polyester thread.

Just cut a square 11x11, make a dart on the center of the sides using her template as a guide. The onlly difference will be in the size of your square, not the placement or size of the darts. I hope this helps.
