I tried this diet for a few months (I'd lose control and binge, gaining it all back instantly and then restarting) and it really messed up my health. Before I started, I would feel relatively okay but after this diet, I'm dizzy a lot of the time, I get nauseous on trains and vehicles easier than I used to, my head will spin when I stand up or move too quickly. It's been months since I last did this diet and I'm eating food with more macronutrients now but I'm still suffering from the effects. As for the weight I lost? I gained it all back and now I weigh more than when I started (trying to lose it the healthy way now). You can't lose 1kg of fat in one day, it's likely just water weight. When you restrict calories like that suddenly, you will lose a ton of weight at first but it's only for a short while. Then when you eat normally again, all the water weight will come back. I wouldn't recommend doing this diet for more than 5 days. It isn't some magical food combination that melts fats, the thing that makes you shed the weight so quickly is the low sodium and calories such that your body doesn't retain as much water. So to anyone who may be wanting to try this out, don't do it! At most only do it maybe once a week while eating normal healthy foods the rest of the week. Trust me, you may feel the side effects like I do and it'll probably make you feel super sick of eating eggs and apples.

@@trashbrock2320 I don't use any specific method, now I prepare my own meals which are low calorie and filling that I actually enjoy and if it fits into my calorie goal, I allow myself to snack a bit on both healthy and unhealthy foods. I don't workout much nowadays because I find that it makes me really burned out and demotivated but as long as I don't binge, I make good progress

I did this diet 3 months ago for 3 days and lost 3 kgs. Even now I haven’t gained that weight back even when I eat junk food. For a few days the weight will increase for obvious reasons because I’ve eaten a lot of high calorific foods but after 1/2 days of eating normally it goes back to how it was. Planning to restart this diet tomorrow for another few days. It really is very effective and long lasting as long as you don’t have any eating problems such as binge eating and you eat healthy on a regular basis. Eating junk food once in a while doesn’t effect the weight. But if you are someone who eats junk food all day, everyday then you can’t expect to lose weight on this diet and then not gain it back if you don’t follow a healthy diet after.

OMG, why would you break the keto effects of the egg diet with sh*tload of carbs right before bed time every day??? It doesn't make sense. If anything, use the carb cycling approach and have carbs every 3-4 days. Replace apples with more micronutrient dense food like broccoli. Again, all that fructose in apples won't help you with the weight loss. Replace one egg meal in a day with salmon - it is also just protein + fats but you need those good omega3s from the salmon. Increase salt intake (NoSalt preferably) to help body retain water after glycogene is depleted.

Helpful Tips: If you don't like hard boiled eggs just cook it in a different way but dont use oil, milkj, butter etc because it's extra calories. Have a big bottle of green tea with you and make sure you drink A LOT of water. It'll make your skin look brighter and it'll make you VERY energized. If you want you can put apple slices in your oatmeal. DO NOT SKIP MEALS! your body will think it's starving so it'll slow down your metabolism and make weight loss much harder. Don't do this for over 1 month. Make sure to take breaks in between.

People that usually do this after 10 days, they will start eating the same normals meals that they usually do and eventually gain the same weight (maybe even more) that they lose. The right way to lose weight is to gradually eat healthier and healthier (prep meal is good) and exercise. Yoyo diets and over exercising will ruin your body. Be careful Steph and everybody :) I'm just trying to inform everybody, no hate. Diet pills and skinny tea's are also not good because it literally just laxatives and bad chemicals.

When your planning to go on a diet you should have a exact number of calories per day. For me im on process of diet and i maintain a 1300 calories per day and i also drink alot of water which is not cold and i do exercise every day. steph please don't try these crazy calorie restriction diets you may lose weight short term but overtime you will slow down your metabolism whilst still being hungry all the time , its not worth it. Our bodies are smarter than we think and after the diet/on the diet you wil/l you are most likely to binge after not because you lack will power but because your body needs food. Losing weight slowly is the best thing to do. Stay safe and stay healthy xx If anyone want to lose weight (fat slowly) I suggest lifting weights, cardio and eating more food so you can speed up your metabolism you don't have to make crazy sacrifices to lose weight. I recommend natacha oceane's youtube channel and Alice Olivia's youtube channel- she discusses calorie restriction diets and how they don't work.

There is no thing like starvation mode unless talking about actual cases of starvation. And basically everything that results in weight loss is "calorie restriction", that's the way losing weight works... (calories in vs calorie out). That being said, extreme calorie restriction is of course not a sustainable way to lose and maintain weight

Be careful, the dizziness might’ve come from low blood sugar! Also, eggs don’t provide all the nutrients your body will need in a day (no single food will) so that may contribute to fatigue and grogginess. I recommend adding some other low cal foods like plain chicken breast, fruits, veggies to the diet just to make sure you don’t get sick (so you’re getting other essential nutrients and fiber and such)

Im one of your silent subscriber, hehe. but this video makes me really want to give you advices a bit since you said you are gonna stick with these diet for a while, im a medical student in my 3rd year, well.. i wouldnt say im a pro of nutrient analysis but we kinda learn these things. 1. dont drink green tea more than one cup per day. Yes baby, green tea is good for you, but something too much is never good. Although it contains polyphenols that neutralize damage of free radicals, it also produce tannin, which if it being exposed by hot water it turns into tannin acid that gonna coagulates protein, and it wont be good for your gastric mucose. And there is a study that show people who drink tea regulary have a thinner gastric mucosa due atrophic changes (you can searh that on pubmed) 2. please balance your nutrients if you are having an extreme calories deficit. I totally not recommend you to do this diet for more than 7 days, really (especially if you have low blood pressure). But baby i understand the feeling want to be "skinny" asap. please take some suplement if you are going through these diet for a long time (which once again i do not recommend it, but it is your life), because your body only understand the nutrients not the calories, if you ate chocolate with big calories most likely you still feel hungry, because it doesnt have any nutrients. 3. you are losing muscle not fat. There is a term in public health sciences as "skinny fat", your weight is really small even bellow your ideal BMI but your fat percentage is more than 30%. how could that happen? having an extreme calories defisit but not moving (feeling tired or not using your muscles so it will shrink faster). It is a lot better if you excercise but adding more (better quality) food to your diet. 4. Stick with the 80 : 20 eating plan. Not eating something sweet or junk food forever is crrrraazzzyy, no one would ever could to that! but all we have to do is to moderate it. These diet just gonna make you craving for more, and binge all of that in one day, lead to some regrets and could end to bulimia. Just eat healthy through the weekday, on saturday and sunday have "a moderate amount" of food you want to have there are a lot more i want to tell you, but im afraid it will be too long, i hope you read it, xx

Steph Choi im glad you read these, trust me i used to do these kind of diet in highschool but end up hating myself even more (thank God im learning med now). Diet is about eating less calories than your BMR, if you eat clean, you could eat more, if you burn calories, you could eat more. But if you strave your self (aka an extreme calories defisit) your body gonna change to strarvation mode, you are going to limp bc your body tried to "save" the nutrients (and be careful bc our brain only could consume glucose and a bit keton, so you could faint anytime bc it takes a long process to break down food to glucose, please drink something sweet asap if you feel dizzy) so the next time you eat (or binge) your body gonna save those food into fat just in case you are starving again in the future, and you gain weight (even worse because it is fat), i recommend doing HIIT, it burns fat faster since it's faster to change fat into glucose than carbohydrate to glucose, so it force your body to burn fat, but it also produce lactic acid that makes you tired faster, hope it help, good luck xo

I have gastro issues including gastritis and also drink MASSIVE amounts of green tea every day (seriously instead of water I drink green tea all day atleast 10-12 bags per day). My dr's ordered multiple tests including h pylori to no success. I had no idea my green tea habit could worsen my symptoms, or possibly even cause them! Thank you again so much I think you may have solved my problem!

I did this diet about an year ago and lost 5 kgs in 5 days. I do this diet for 5 days and then take a break for 5 days. In those 5 days I eat healthy healthy foods. And I didnt gain any weight back. Once I had to break the diet cuz it was my bros bday and his gonna be mad at me if I don't eat the cake so I ate it all and even some junk food and I gained 1 kg. So only if you eat like you used to then only you will gain the weight back.

i tried this for 5 days and I already lose 81kg to 76.1kg as of today will try to meet my goal which is 67-68kg for normal bmi for my height Edit: already at 70.5kg but i change my diet plan really cant take more boiled eggs switch to breakfast: 1 toast bread and 2 bananas or apple, lunch: (steak, pork, beef, w/ vegatables alternatives no rice), dinner: 1 toast bread, skyflakes and tuna) goodluck guys

I agree with the caution comments, Steph! I have struggled with feeling uncomfortable with my body ever since I could remember, since the beginning of elementary school. Fad diet promises sound alluring but will have you feeling miserable at some point. At worst, it can possibly slowly lead to disordered eating, which is a serious mental health issue. Weight loss and health doesn't have to be impossibly difficult! Alternatively, you can do something similar by evalutating your current portion sizes and reduce in places where you might be overeating (ie: take 150g of rice instead of 250g; eat more veggie side dishes if you are having much more meat than veggies; drink water or insweetened tea if you often have sweetened drinks; if you snack or eat dessert everyday, try to have them every other day in smaller quanities, etc). It won't take ten days, but time will pass more normally and you will be left feeling hungry.

I've used the cabbage soup diet and that works as well. I think if you combine the egg diet with the soup diet and bring your calories up to more like 1100-1200 you would be able to sustain it and lose weight in the long term. in the end it is all about calorie deficit no matter the mix of healthy type foods

I tried this diet on Friday June 19th and am currently on my 3rd day. However, I've added different food other than just apples and boiled eggs to switch around, such as sweet potatoes, bananas, chicken breast, salad, milk, grapefruit, and orange juice. I use the app Foodvisor to track my calories each day (putting in eaten food to get calories calculated). Moreover, I also do exercises along with the diet (I walk for 30 minutes and do Chloe Ting's 2 week workout challenge + her arm workout). I am planning to do this for 7 days and hope I can remember to update daily. Started weight: 65kg / 143.3 lbs - After Day 1: 64.2 kg / 141.5 lbs - After Day 2: 63.6 kg / 140.2 lbs - After Day 3: 63.2 kg/ 139.3 lbs - After Day 4: 63.2 kg/ 139.3 lbs (idk what happened but I didnt lose any weight for this day, maybe I ate too much or sth...) I still feel good each day in which I think it's probably because it's summer and I stay at home all the time doing nothing so my energy is pretty much preserved. And no, I am not a professional, therefore whatever I have said can possibly be wrong or it just works for me. I just wanted to simply share and not to recommend it to anyone. ^^

I tried the 16 hours intermittent fasting and lost 14 kgs in 1 and half months. I eat dinner at 7 p.m. and eat breakfast again at 11 a.m. the next day and lunch at around 2pm . I think I will stop though cause I am still losing weight even though I eat like 5000-6000 calories during the non fasting time. I am trying to gain weight again.

Im on the 3rd day of this day. I've loss 1.4 kg in 3 days. Pretty satisfied with the result. I did not feel any bad side effect on my body yettt and did not feel like extremely hungry. I will update once i've finish 10days challenge. 7 days remaining💪. Btw if u are that type that used to eat late dinner u better consider to hv early dinner and sleep early. I feel the most hungry when I had to stay up till late night studying. Btw my old weight is 59.5kg and im 165cm Im already on my 8th day now. 2 days more😁 Update : I hv finished 10days and I lost 4kg. Every body works differently so dont expect the same result when u try this diet. Remember only do this diet on a short term as it is not a healthy diet♥

I did this and it helped so much. Its all down go control. I did it, didn't binge, cheat, only a couple times okay but on healthy things😂, and after I lost the weight I wanted I just ate healthy and gained maybe 4 pounds back of water weight which doesn't even make a difference because I lost 28 pounds in total! I did the egg diet and lost 10 kg in 20 days ( I didn’t did it every day) but when I started to eat normal again I gained 13 kg back 😭 so I don’t really recommend this diet unless you want to restrict calories you’re whole life. I was very lightheaded when I did the diet. But I never fainted but I always felt like shit if I did the diet. My skin color is also really pale but I don’t look sick. but when I did the diet almost everyone told me that I looked so pale and they asked me if I was sick. So yeah that kinda sucks (Sorry for my English, English is not my first language

After the diet you need to eat less than before. First week you need to eat 1100 kcal (because the diet is for 900 kcal). Second week you need to eat 1300kcal and +200 kcal each following week. I hope that you understood.. I know, my english is very bad..

I did thus diet and for 6 days instead and I lost so much weight . I ended changing my eating habits and now eat loads of fish and no red meat . I eat egg whites with veggies in the morning and have a nice meal for lunch and something light for dinner .

j-hope outcharted BTS hey , so I didn’t gain the weight back . I ended up maintaining it by changing my eating habits because the diet encouraged me to control my calorie intake . I stopped eating fast food at night . I have egg whites in the morning with spinach and feta cheese . For lunch usually I have tilapia with pepper flakes and lemon that i put in the oven . And whatever side dish I want from my mother cooking but not too much . Literally only 1 cup of white rice if I really want some . No no no red meats like pork or cow . If I want a burger , I always order a veggie burger . Unless If I actually did a lot of excersice by walking , then I might order an actual burger but usually not. No regular soda just diet soda . No junk food at night but I can have a cauliflower pizza ; I can eat half a pie that will be only 330 calories . In all keep your calorie count below 1,200. One more thing , if you love Starbucks stop drinking their high calorie drink cuz that could go towards your meal . If ya need a drink , older a cold brew , ice /hot coffee , tea , any drink below 90 calories . Change the milk to almond milk and Splenda sugar .

j-hope outcharted BTS tbh : on the third day I felt slightly dizzy for 1 min. But that’s it’s .I just ate baby mini carrots from shoprite whenever when I was dieting , as a snack . It helped a lot. I recommend also , if you don’t want to have the apple as much , you can eat one baked Tilapia fish with lemon and salt . That should help a lot while on that strict diet plan . Eating that many eggs is not bad for you , I already had asked my doctor about it .

2 part time job that makes you burn calories, I totally get you, I work in an office from 11h30 to 4h30 pm and then at night I do cleaning from 10h30 pm to 3-4 am, I'm hesitant to diet because I need energy at night for my job and I need concentration for my day desk job !

Don't do these crazy fad diets! They will not help you in the long run; rather it'll mess up your metabolism by slowing it down, and soon, you won't be losing weight (in a sustainable way). I recommend just intuitive eating :) I'm recovering right now from calorie restricting for about a year (my hair started to fall out, my skin became dry, and my nails became brittle). Plus, you look fine just the way you are! :)

Hey Steph! I love your mind set when starting a "diet" plan. I am so pro-veggie!! so it was great to hear you want to add more veggies! As a dietitian, i used to tell my clients that veggies like green leafys, carrots, cucumbers, zucchinis should be considered "0 calories" (excluding starchy vegs like potatoes) and should not included in your calorie count because not only are they super low calorie but they are so nutrient dense (are packed full of vitamins and minerals)! You should always tweak a diet plan to meet your requirements because everyone's lifestyle is different and unique! For example, you work 2 part time jobs, stand on your feet most of the day and also exercise regularly! So in my opinion, you are quite an active person, so you should not hesitate to include more carbohydrates and protein into your diet plan. You can do this by including another bowl of oats for breakfast, or an additional snack of a protein shake/fruit smoothie made on low fat milk or, my favorite, including a handful of nuts into your oatmeal! I normally dont suggest extreme diets like this to my clients as it can cause an unhealthy relationship with food, but i believe you are quite knowledgeable and in a good mind set to not become too obsessed ^^ it is always great to experiment with your diet plan as long as you are in control and the food is not controlling you! if that makes any sense... anyway, sorry for the long comment, but overall good luck with your weight loss journey, i believe in you and your smelly egg farts haha

I used this diet to prepare for my wedding and I ended up getting hives! Apparently I am allergic to too much egg whites. Scared the shit out of me, thankfully I got rid of it in about a month on 3 different antihistamines. 😂 Research of you're allergic to anything before doing any sort of diet y'all!

There are better ways to loose weight please don't do crash diets :( You can eat what you like and what your body needs while still loosing weight just by avoiding unhealthy food and keeping a calorie defiency. That's just my opinion though, it's your decision what you wanna do❤❤❤

You and Versatile Vicky really shouldn’t be promoting this at all. Unless you’re severely obese, that amount of weight loss in such a small amount of time is nothing to be proud of or promote. 900 calories a day will likely send your body into starvation mode because (as you said) you work two jobs, and because you’re not eating enough, you’ll likely gain weight. You definitely need to eat a couple hundred more calories than that.

Been doing this diet for last 4 days - today is my 5th day. My results are similar to yours. I did not lose much like others do. At least you have a standing job - I am PhD student. I have to sit to study whole day. Anyways, I just lost 1.5ish kgs in 5 days. But as advised, I did not exercise. I followed the diet diligently and no cheating. I had no side affects - no constipation, no bloating, no farting (lol), no new acne (I have an acne prone skin), no headache or craving. I could have easily carried it out for another 5 days but because I saw such poor results for myself, I was demotivated and I stopped. Also, in this time of lockdown, I was out of apples :( Apples and green tea is very important in this diet. I am 36 yrs old and was aiming to lose my post pregnancy weight :(

BREAKFAST: 3 boiled eggs (without yolk, because i dont like it) & a cup of green tea. LUNCH: chicken ( I can't eat 6 eggs in one day, I love meat), red apple & a cup of green tea. Please be careful with diets. Usually, when you crash diet and loose weight, you won't be able to keep it off for too long. I think that the best thing you can do is to, eat well and exercise well. Eat until you are full.

Stephen. You are a cute normal size girl. I saw someone posted they lost 40 kg in 20 days. That is impossible! That is 88 pounds ! Thank you for trying the diet out for us and posting the results. It saved me from doing it. Notice that you needed a "cheat day" and kind of lost it. You ate as much food as you probably would have all week! It is called a binge. I wish you luck. Keep posting! I am on never ending diets, but they are not sustainable and I gain the weight back plus more every time. I even did Kim Bum's diet. 1 coffee, 1 egg, 1/2 sweet potato. Oh! And ran 5 HOURS daily, and slept 10 hours. He got kinda sick later, I heard. Looked great, but lost muscle and damaged his immune system

Wow its working for me day 3 now, started at 69.5 on 27/04/2021 today 29/04/2021 i weighed 66.2 i jog daily a 5km distance and am doing quite ok, i will keep updating till i finish. Thanks

Steph, maybe look into intermittent fasting!! It's a very healthy lifestyle and you can still eat whatever you want during the day-- the only restriction is when you eat. Its really hard for me to lose weight and this was the only thing that worked for me. I lost ~10lbs in 9 weeks and have kept off the weight for 3 months and counting!

I tried this diet when I was in highschool. It definitely did make me lose weight. But it got to a point where I was underweight and had less muscle mass. Huge mistake. Diets like this don’t really work overall because it leads to mass muscle loss. High intensity interval cardio along with counting you calorie intake helps. Also eat a lot of protein to prevent muscle mass loss. Im 5’3.5” (femme) and am eating at most 1350 calories. I weigh 122lb I believe. Meats and protein shakes help.

3 weeks is way too much. I'd suggest one week max. And after, count the calories you are taking in daily and try to keep it constant every day. There are formulas out there that give you the number of calories you should aim for given your height and body weight in order to lose weight. Mine is 1350 calories. Also do cardio exercises and eat lots of protein to prevent muscle mass loss.

The effective way of weight loss is what I have seen in television program: running and other work out, eating healthy with vegetables, meat and some rice or potatoes, oat porridge with fiber and not eat food with a lot of sugar.

to anyone who wants to try this out: DON'T. The side effect is gastritis which is hella painful for me. I need to take a month of treatment to make my body fully recovered. I knew not everyone can get the same effect like mine, because I do have gastritis, but with this diet, it made it worse than ever. I recommend you to eat healthier but also eat a food that unhealthy maybe once or twice a month, it just made us HUMAN. You can also try to do a workout instead of wishing for an instant result. tiny step will lead you to a huge step. Don't trust in an instant result Y'LL
